The 2023 bullrun will not be focused on L1s
Instead, wel'l be witnessing an L2 war

My reasoning behind this is cause in the past bullrun, Ethereum was still extremely unscalable and people were looking for alternatives (Cardano, Solana, Polkadot)

But as L2s become better and better, people are starting to head back to Ethereum.
And the question will suddenly switch from "which L1" to "which L2"

My guess is that old L2s like Arbitrum and Optimism will fade into obsurity and modern modular L2s like Mantle will make it to the top

TLDR:
Ethereum wasnt scalable, now it is with L2s
People will ditch alt L1s and fight over L2s now

An OpenAi/ChatGPT-3 based bot with chatroom moderation capabilities has the potential to greatly improve the user experience in online communities. It can quickly and accurately identify and remove harmful or disruptive content, making the chatroom a safer and more enjoyable place for all users. Additionally, such a bot can also be programmed to detect and respond to specific keywords or phrases, providing helpful information and resources to users in need. Furthermore, it could also be used to personalize the conversation and make suggestions based on the context, making the chatroom more interactive and interesting. Overall, it could be a powerful tool for creating positive and productive online environments.

There won't be a 2023 bullrun. We're going lower and then we're crabbing until at least 2024, if not 2025.

The reality is that Ethereum is king and OP is right. The next war will be a Layer 2 war rather than a Layer 1 war

doubt.
unless they ride the "partnership" train they wont get recognized

Dont get me wrong. I checked Mantle out and they're actually legit. One of the the few L2 rollups with potential to hyperscale Ethereum.
But with that being said, this is money-only game and for them to get any recognition they're gonna have to work with big name globohomo companies

>> No.53348188

not necessarily
the main reason these scaling solutions are doing these partnerships is to generate hype which translates to funds
so what you're saying would actually make sense if it werent for the fact that Mantle is backed by a $2 billion+ treasury meaning they have funding for technically anything the community wants to achieve

i'd like to add that not only will there be hype around layer2 chains, but layer1 chains will actually start losing hype and a lot of ethereums compatition willl start disappearing
LUNA and solana are already gonzo and the rest are technically irrelevant

Ethereum changed its roadmap
They could have made the chain scale itself but it made more sense to outsource scalability to L2s which act as extensions, thus boosting scalability without compromising scalability

funny you should mentions security since OP is talking about an L2 that uses its own governance tokens for gas, not ETH lol

What you just said is 100% proof that half of you cucks have no idea how Ethereum works
The way Mantle stakes the tokens on EigenLayer makes the chain uncompromising. It retains 100% of its security from Ethereum

Mantle could have used ETH for gas but they went with BIT in order to incentivize devs top build on it
