I’m 21 and just got my first credit card last month, my credit score dropped like 25 points. Should I worry? I’m not buying a house or anything.

You retarded bro? Read about credit score factors on Google.

No this is normal with a hard pull from your credit. Keep adding more, and keeping your utilization more. Who cares about your score in the short term if you’re not trying to get other lines of credit?

Keep that score up anon
You wouldn’t want to pay more on your debt because no one would ever buy anything without paying the bankers to do it

Normal. Open as much as you can within this month. Take the initial -40 hit but you now have higher credit limit to work with keeping under the 33% max utilization recommendation. open as many with sign up bonuses as you can. $200 bonus after spending $500 ect. Pay your cards balance in full every month. Revolve use of each card to the bonus requirement during a year or so. Your score will easily be way up. Rinse repeat with higher sign up bonuses until you're in the bank checking hold bonus that require $250k for a free $2k.

You did a hard inquiry and your age of credit just got halved of course it dropped. You should get 2 more cards immediately you'll be back in good goy range in no time as long as you keep your credit utilization below 10%, pay it off in full every month, and NEVER miss a payment
