I like layoffstracker better, only good for tech jobs but still a pretty good number. Just remember most companies don't mention layoffs, especially when they are small and not public. I worked for an NFT company and they were not public about it across three rounds of them over six months, over 100 people in total got canned by the end of it including people that only worked there for about a week or two.
