I've been investing for god knows how long and share buybacks seem to never do shit for a stock price because (((certain people))) fuck over retail before we can profit.
Yet with with dividends you are at least guaranteed a return, regardless of their manipulation.

I prefer Dividends for stable companies any day, rather than a Jewtopian experience judging how much to sell to get the same results.
That said, dividend ETFs like JEPI and SCHD are far preferable to individual companies, and if you're young, most of your portfolio should be in growth and VOO, unless you need the cash flow, which I do.
