I live in the Ichimoku Cloud building on East 88th Street on the 666th floor. My name is Heiken Ashi. I’m 10 years old. I believe in posting frogs, and dropping redpills about the jews and upsetting jannies. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an Elliot Wave while drawing triangles. I can draw a thousand now. After I remove the Elliot Wave I use a Stoch RSI cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a MACD activated oscillator, then a Fibonacci body scrub, and on the face a Bollinger scrub. Then I apply an EMA Cloud facial masque which I leave on for 1 minute while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use a Renko shave lotion with little or no divergence, because divergence dries your face out and makes you look older. Then a Hash Ribbon, then a Moving Average eye balm followed by a final moisturizing stoploss lotion. There is an idea of a Heiken Ashi. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my poopoo, and you can suck my peepee and feel my cum in your mouth, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

This chart has everything. The two Bollinger dicks merged into the one chart, and the failing short positions. Wanna see if this gets on r/wsb perhaps?

I swing trade using Ichimoku + RSI, mostly on the 1D chart. Also use the 20/50/200 EMA crossover to help get early signals.
Works well enough.

Wew lad, this went downhill fast..
As an options trader i use Meme lines, EMA's, and MACD. Currently waiting for IBKR to clear deposits just in time for earnings just incase my short puts get destroyed

I've struggled with options trading in the past.
When would you say it's better to use in-the-money vs out-of-the-money options?

In the money for calls, the further in the money more the contracts value is intrinsic, thus less is exposed to theta decay, the less downside risk, and smaller the breakeven. LEAPS. or Covered calls, if you expect the stock to fall, you could sell in the money and collect a higher premium and let the contract fall out of the money and buy it back.

OTM, i sell naked puts way out, 20-30% out. ideally on uptrending stocks, or if something becomes fundamentally silly. Like, Meta bottoming at 88, it traded at an 8.5 p/e.. it's too retarded, so i sold the 75. I didn't really want the shares but fear made that free money, it retraced back above 100 and the contracts value evaporated.

Checked. This helps a lot, particularly regarding selling puts. I need to do some paper trades using that method and get better.

Nice dubs.
A few pointers regarding puts.
>keep track of your maintenance margin vs Net liquidation value. if NLV drops below your margin requirements your broker may liquidate your positions.
>Sell options when IV is elevated, that way when it relaxes the contract gets IV crushed. Keep IV on your side.
>Don't sell puts on downtrending shitcos, if they move violently down, the maintenance margin will go up with the contract value, both from the underlying approaching your strike, and IV.
>the point in which theta decay begins to ramp up is 45 DTE.

I'm only posting these because I am currently NOT using them, I haven't tested them yet, they are in the backlog. My system is currently lacking in mean-reversion plays. Looking for opinions.

Playing the Gaps: 5% Gap with Market Gap
>Buy a stock if the stock was down the day before, if the stock is opening 5% lower than the close the day before and if it's index (eg QQQ) is also gapping down by at least 0.5%.
>Sell if the gap is filled or at the end of the day.

Correlated Index/Asset Spread Unilateral Pairs Trading (eg QQQ-SPY, or BAKA-QQQ)
>Calculate the ratio of the index price series, more volatile one being the numerator, QQQ/SPY. Calculate the 20 SMA of that ratio. Calculate the difference between the ratio and it's moving average. Calculate the 20 SMA of those differences. Calculate how many standard deviations the difference in ratios is from it's moving average.
>Long the volatile asset (QQQ) when the standard diviation is less than -1.5 and QQQ is down 2% lower than the day prior.
>Short the volatile asset when the std. is greater than 1.5 and QQQ is up 2% from the day prior.
>Close position when the std. returns below +/- 0.5

NYSE TICK Indicator: Intraday
>Buying: When in any 30 minute bar the high of the TICK is -50, then wait until the start of the next bar and buy QQQ (or a volatile stock) when it goes lower than the low of the previous 30 min bar.
>Sell immediately when the trade is 2% profitable or when the TICK has hit a high of at least 400, sell at the end of the 30min bar, or sell after 10 market hours if either condition is not met.

NYSE TICK Indicator: Panic
>Buying: when 5 30min bars in a row of TICK have a low below -400, then wait until the next bar and buy when QQQ hits a 5-bar low.
>Sell when the position is 1% profitable, at the end of the bar when TICK High >400, or at the end of the 4th trading day.

cont.

Short-Term Bollinger Band System (Stocks)
>Buy the moment when %b is less than -20 using BBs with 10-day & 1.5 std. Hold at least until the end of the day even if the profit target is hit.
>Sell when either a 15% profit target is hit or after 4 days.

BB Crash (Indexes)
>Buy on open the day after QQQ closes below 0 b% using BB(10, 1.5). Try with both buying indexes or the high beta components of the index.
>Sell on close higher than entry or after 1 month.

5-Minute BB
>Buy the stock when b% is less than -3 on BB(10, 2) on 5 minute bars. Hold at least until the end of the bar.
>Sell at 1% profit target or after 15 minutes.

Buy less than $5
>Buy the moment a stock (pool of ALL STOCKS) crosses below $5
>Sell one month later.

Government Bond Yield as Indicator
>Buy DJI when the 10-year yield is 25 points lower than 1 month prior and the dow is down 2% in the past week.
>Sell after holding 1 month.

Junk Bond as Indicator
>Buy SPY at the end of the month where the S&P has under performed the Merrill Lynch High Yield Index by 5% over the prior 3 months
>Sell after holding for a month.

200 SMA Crash
>Buy SPY when it closes 20% below it's 200SMA
>Sell after holding for 1 month.

I have quite a few more mean-reversion trades in my list but this is long enough as it is.
Once again, I don't use these and haven't tested them. I'll get around to it soon I svear

Ya it's a good strategy. I sold a bunch of TSLA puts after it had recently flushed down to like 90. Sold the 65 puts for next week and collected a nice chunk and actually closed out most of them within a couple days for around 80-90%

Find stuff that's deeply extended, huge wide range candles + gaps + insanely high volume typically means it's near a top/bottom and bonus points if it's near an area of support/resistance, then sell OTM calls/puts just beyond the next level of support/resistance. Pretty safe bet. And bonus points if you're selling the puts deep OTM after a huge exhaustive move and you actually want the stock. If this threads up later after I get some sleep I can put in some charts of what I'm talking about.
