Right now crypto seems worthless to me because no one is really using it, No goods are being purchased by it. Only using it as gold stock which is also worthless.
What are you going to do with your gold stocks when society falls? Go to the bank and ask them to chip off some gold for you?

Around 2013 I was playing EVE Online and some people would broadcast BUY BTC around Jita. Sometimes they had ships named the same thing and I convo'd one about what is BTC. They said something about it being internet space money and that it was the future. I thought it sounded cool so I looked into it and eventually bought some around $200.
