I didn't even know about crypto until like 2018, or something like that and I'm 28 years old. Didn't believe in it for a while. Started studying the tech and actually found it quite interesting. Bought Filecoin just to stake it and support the network (I thought decentralized cloud file storage was a cool idea), then bought some Bitcoin because I thought it was essentially the "gold" of the crypto industry.

Overall I made a very small amount of money on Bitcoin, but I lost my ass on my Filecoin holdings. Luckily, I never put too much money in because I knew it was extremely risky. Ended up losing about $2k when everything was said and done. It is what it is.

My biggest mistake was making an extremely poor political risk calculation on my Russian energy stocks and losing 40% of my initial investment after being up 120%.

It's stressful and you get angry for a while OP. But, eventually you need to put it in the past and try to learn from your mistakes, so you don't make them again.

yes but i made a bunch of money off of the 2017 pump anyway cus I was a drug dealer and taking bitcoin as payment and that shit mooned while I had some bitcoin sitting in an account and it turned 2k into 5k just because i was lazy about finding a buyer. I miss the days of localbitcoins
