savings rates allows for the potential for future growth
nations with higher savings rates allows for higher future growth
money that is saved doesn't just sit in a bank account - it is lent out to others to be productive & grow the economy
if the savings rate collapses, investment in the economy collapses, future growth collapses
not only does a very low savings rate hurt future growth, it immediately hurts present growth and consumer spending
think about it like this - if you have a positive / high savings rate, all of your "needs" and "wants" are being met; even with you buying all the things you need and want, you are still saving money / net positive
when the savings rate falls this low / negative, it means that people are getting hardcore squeezed financially, where they are not able to buy everything they want / need, that they have to borrow money / put themselves in debt in order to keep up. they are unironically doing this for groceries - not for "a new TV" - that's how bad the situation is getting, that people are putting themselves into unrecoverable debt, for food
this extremely low savings rate impacts consumption, as although the $ frontline price may be inflating GDP, the amount of goods and services that the person is actually receiving is less than before - their quality of life is lower, they cannot buy as many things (just fewer things at a higher price)
this is bearish for growth, bearish for corporate earnings, bearish for the economy
if you want to learn more, google
>savings rate relationship with economic growth
and there are many, many papers on the subject
the other huge danger that exists, that didn't exist before, is that we are having this extremely small / negative savings rate, while also at a time of all time high debt and increasing layoffs
it's a recipe for disaster, as people who do not have money saved / no savings are having to borrow money on higher interest to buy food; they don't have a job & can't pay it off

I mean I agree I was just shitposting. But really you should vary up your caffeine intake. Sometimes go with green tea or black tea, sometimes cocoa etc.

I start my mornings with green tea brewed overnight then cofffee after a few hours then cocoa through the day as needed unless I feel I need coffee then I make a smaller coffee and do a coffee cocoa mix. Cocoa has other stimulants and mood and memory enhancers like theobromine with less caffeine so I prefer it for the boost as the day goes on. Also since its just a powder mixed into a cup it is really easy to regulate your intake.

Have you ever tried cocoa? If I ever wake up feel down and depressed and unmotivated I up my intake of cocoa and by midday I always feel great and motivated again. But if I just stuck to coffee I know I would be an iritable rek and asshole to be around that day.

Ever put Cayenne pepper powder in your morning warm drink? Highly recommend. Really enhances the wakeup effect having that burning throat sensation. My favorite thing.

I'm not saying he has no right to complain, a monotonous job sucks, but unless he's working 80+ hours and driving a fair distance to and from work every day, the "is this all there is?" comment really rubs me as "he focused so heavily on his career, he forgot that work was meant to support life, not the other way around."

Not sure if you can trade futures on webull. Another anon mentioned ninjatrader, which is decent. Any futures broker works as long as spreads are low and executions are spot on. Keep in mind that comissions are likely fairly high. Also read up on the difference between different contracts before you touch them, as on the full size, 1 point on 1 contract is 50$. You can blow up an account easily since you are gonna be levered the hell up.

For an easier version, you can do CFDs if you are in europe, but the spreads there are terrible. It's better to trade futures in every way, except higher barrier to entry and comissions.

Yes, you can set stoplosses, you shouldn't really touch them without having stops in really and it's mostly short term moves that people go for.

Can't help it. There's just something really beautiful about seeing BBBY immediately rug after all the cockiness and obnoxious shilling yesterday.

>One-year inflation expectations 4.0% vs 4.4% prior
>5-year inflation expectations 3.0% vs 2.9% prior
a little mixed - one year expectations as a result of gasoline prices falling
but longterm inflation expectations are rising, risking sticky inflation and making the Feds job harder

I've done it probably 4 times but the first time I did it was because I found out my exgf was still talking to her ex bf, three years into our relationship. I couldn't confront her in the proper way so I cheated on her with five different girls over a period of 3 months. The last one was literally what I just described. I still miss that cheating bitch

what's your gig? Some careers have 12+ hour shifts or you have to bring work home or you have to be obsessed with your field/industry to stay relevant in the job.

It's very easy to find people who don't have a lift outside of climbing the ladder and wasting their spare time gaming, watching Netflix or drinking
