I think the definition of small cap is something between 100/200mil and 2 bil.
You can get pretty comfy growth in companies below 1 bil, they're also under-covered by analysts and tend to be ignored by the big guys.
Of course, the real chads buy micro-caps sometimes, 10 mil to 100 mil usd in market cap. But their revenue is often unpredictable, or the market is not pricing in any future growth.
