>price is going up, people posting "this is le bottom of bear" post and charts and stuff, all of this means it's not the bottom
People are going to post this every single leg down and eventually it's going to be right. Keep in mind that almost everyone has left the board, it's quite dead. Only remaining people are those who will literally never capitulate or those who are buying back in after taking profits previously, and those who are still actively shorting shitcoins.
I've been posting for almost a year that I don't think it's the bottom, and now I think it's the bottom or at least as close as it gets. FTX collapsing could barely push the price down from 20k to 15k because almost everyone has either already sold or only hold shitcoins that are already down 99%. Sellers are exhausted, there's lots of people still shorting and bragging about shorting. Past bear markets have pretty much all been about 1 year.
I don't think this is the year of new ATHs for big caps, but I think there's no way we don't see bitcoin touching 25-30k this year.
Contrarianism is good, but if you're being contrarian against a broken clock you're at risk.

To be a bull in 2023 is to be contrarian, at least until it starts pumping and everyone fomos in again, at which point I will probably take some profit to fix things and maybe buy lower with some of it.
My sentiment checks seem to look at everyone on twitter and reddit talking about recession and inflation and fed rising rates so it's forever over, but if we look at things like 2008... It only took 1 year to reach the bottom. Just one year. And people still didn't buy (mainly because they were broke and lost their jobs and were gonna lose their house).

I don't know, if you're shorting with low lev then it might be okay, but I'd say this is closer to the bottom than it is closer to the top. So take that with a grain of salt, but if you can hold on, there may still be a few dumps ahead, nobody knows, I'd just say that it is getting harder and harder to see those dumps. They are getting smaller.

The European CBDC is a funny thing really.
What's perhaps most curious is that nobody really understands who decides what the digital Euro is going to entail.
It's going to be decided by unelected ex-bankers, commercial banks have already lobbied themselves into the mix to be intermediaries.
There are various downsides, no privacy, negative interest rates and programmable money.
The privacy restrictions are set to be quite invasive.
What are the pros? None, I literally cannot think of any, one could argue that programmable money is an upside as well, but for some reason I'm thinking this will be a closed system where only certain parties are allowed to program your (their) money.
Really activates the almonds why someone would shill a shitcoin like this.

There is one single pro and that would be not being exposed to a custodian for fiat, only the central bank / currency value. Only a certain amount of fiat is insured if your commercial bank goes under, this way you can basically hold money with the central bank. Why someone would ever want to do that considering the risk/reward of self custody in digital euro is basically zero I don't know.
The negatives of CBDC vastly outweigh the benefit obviously.
