I've also got some small specks at (1) a few years ago (4 spoonfuls of material yielded like 8 flakes, still less than 0.0001g, but the ratio ain't too bad, I think), and that is about the level of "normal" floods, but there have some some real funny ones like a meter above the top edge of that pic.
Guess I just have to invest an hour or two (or three, if those holes are big, I'm looking at moving, classifying and panning something close to a cubic meter) to clean out those spots.

Any less than 1 oz is super expensive, I never bought any 2 rubles or 1 ruble. 1 oz is 3 rouble, has plenty of these. Also couple of 25 rubles (5 oz). Haven't tried much organics. It's a very public spot, so wacking about in vegetation might not be the best idea but there's a few pockets I want to check out where this makes sense.
The rock is some phyllite, but it's very irregular. At some spots it's indeed extremely hard (and thus very smooth and extremely slippery, almost fell into the water quite a few times when I was there during rain), but then, 5 meters away, it behaves like shale and you can just shovel it up and pan out the decomposed bedrock.
But some of the cracks in the hard parts are quite deep, as are some potholes, so there ought to be some permanent stuff in there.
Oh well, only one way to find out.
