Are they? I'm in Canada so I don't even think that I can link to a bank using Uphold. I just have an exchange account to actually move my BAT out. Overall I do like Uphold's app though and it's pretty cheap to move them to self custody assuming the Ethereum network isn't crazy busy (I know I could just swap to something like XRP for cheaper transactions but I don't bother.)
