None of that matters. What matters is if this really works out, in which case it is the new Internet and all holders will be rich beyond belief. But it’s also long term. Investing in the right early Internet companies would have made you very rich, but you would have had to hold for a long time, a few decades.
I have kicked the tires a bit on it, written some test projects and done some measurements. It is impressive. In my opinion it is currently the only interesting project (Bitcoin is a done deal, it will never be dethroned, but there are no hugely interesting developments, as it should be), but success is not guaranteed. Intracanister calls still seem to slow, and there needs to be both cross-canister sharding for big datasets and cross-canister transaction managers for this to really become the next Internet. But it is already amazing and lots can be done on it, DEXes and DeFi will be something else. But to make it scale to the next twitter will take some more work, I think. I also think Dfinity are capable of doing it.
