It's funny because all that talk before here for so long about how Arbitrum is going to be a game changer are mostly shaping up to be true. Just the whole narrative here was that Chainlink was somehow going to be absolutely fundamental to it. When the reality turned out to be the exact opposite.

I've never touched celsius, bancor, linkpool etc.
Never even put up lank as collateral in Aave or similar.
Closest I've been to losing is a bridge hack. But the North Koreans quite literally left 50k LINK untouched and just didn't take it. So I eventually got out. And actually profited quite a bit in various ways due to the way things unfolded.

I don't really want to get into this specific topic, but that's different and also I'm more referring to their lack of strategy in that area leading to price suppression during the bull in 2021(which also suppresses further demand leading to a vicious hype killing cycle during an important time).
But that's in the past and doesn't matter now. As long as they're actually funded for like literally ten years or something and making things happen from their perspective it's all the same. But they left a lot of potential money on the table with their approach and have a lasting stigma among investors that makes it a harder road than it needed to be imo. Ultimately though the tech will win in the end. Just have to make sure we drag these bags naked through broken glass bleeding out to make it more interesting I guess.
