He's giving you advice, fren. Last bullrun RLC was like dogshit until the very last week. It's hard to keep holding it when so much else is exploding left and right. The biggest retards get rich and you're sitting there with your "fundamentals". It will probably pump again but nothing is guaranteed. Whatever you do, make sure to take profits. The top will be lower than what you'll want it to be. And RLC dumps to the depths of hell.

it looked completely dead and did nothing for 4 years and i followed it closely, i was tired of it and thought. well I held for 4 years atleast I can sell this for a small in dollar profit. but satoshi wise I lost big time. then it did a 10x in 3 days or something and then it came back down to 3x less satoshi as where i sold. i started buying around 25k satoshi all the way down to 10k satoshi. and i missed the 3 days I could sell for 16k satoshi $20). cause i sold at like 6000 ($2) a week before.

RLC is digital dogshit and yes it can moon. but its not a certainity. and to be fair on the bitcoin chart it only went down since inception.

Some fundamental cryptos will maybe do a 1000x over years. but who knows which one?

Let's say you'll aways keep 25% of your stack which you will never sell unless it goes 1000x
if it really does you'd still have 250x, which isn't too bad and you have no reason to off yourself.
but it probably won't and you'll make more money trading.
increase the amount to 50% if you must.
also, there will always be other things to invest in. It's much easier to do a 10x two times than catch a 100x once.

As a leaf, if you trade too much, you become a crypto trader and taxed at 50%. Holders are taxed at 25%. It’s also possible any activity on one coin translates to others. So if I swing RLC, gains on eth will also be taxed at 50% because I’m now a day trader. Also, 80% of all traders lose. Way more benefit to hold a project like RLC to a target, and then sell it.

I think there are degrees of “luck” tho. Would we be lucky that a team led by 6 phds, some basically the fathers of grid computing with one of their main functionalities of worker pools going live EOM, and who think idle computing power offered via on-demand queries has value, be lucky if this hits a top ten market cap? I don’t think so. It’s reading the writing on the wall and being patient. Not to mention worker pools is just the beginning. The fact doge has a a much higher market cap than this project is astounding, and I’m not selling until they’re at least equal. Not to mention the team didn’t even sell a single RLC at the ATH should give you pause - they clearly know what they’re building has more value. I could go on and on but you get it

Yes desu. Yes. It's not a sure thing. Nothing is guaranteed.

>The fact doge has a a much higher market cap than this project is astounding.
Is it? People are retarded. At this point, hype is more important than fundamentals. If you can make money, it doesn't matter how. And RLC will need a lot of adoption and that's years away and still a gamble.

I'd still sell at least half after a 10x and rebuy lower. If it really does explode to 1000x you only lost 50%.

Maybe you're larping but whatever, I gave you my opinion. Sounds like you're just gonna hold it all until 1000x.

12k right now in BTC might become 100k in two or three years. 12k right now in RLC will likely become 100k within the next few months, at which point you can diversify into BTC

Diversification, especially into large caps, is a wealth preservation strategy and NOT a wealth creation strategy. BTC will always be there for you to buy, but you will be priced out of something like RLC so quickly you won't know what happened. If you diversify, open your positions in smaller caps. $100 will take you way farther in a $1mil cap you're sure of than $100 of BTC will likely ever go.

You went all in on something that is a near certain kingmaker, so congrats on that. Your job now is to work to understand RLC and what its implications are for network architecture to a high enough degree that you won't sell too early. You need to know what you hold; really understanding your positions and why you hold them needs to be a central part of your overall strategy if you want to have the kind of portfolio that lets you quit the wage cage. I see way too little attention paid to this kind of thing when people talk about their folios here.

The only thing that stands between you and making it now is a bit of research. Good luck, fren

i guess what I'm getting at is that any truly decentralized network, be it a blockchain or a DON, would need a decentralized compute layer.

Regarding storage: once CCIP goes live, RLC wouldn't need to integrate with anything. Its single integration with Chainlink connects it with all other blockchains that connect to the Chainlink network -- this is the internet of blockchains. The IPFS/Filecoin blockchain has integrated with Chainlink, so I guess that would be the storage layer of this network, Though admittedly decentralized file storage is not a rabbit hole I've quite gone done yet so I don't know who the other players/what the other models are.
