There are 2 types of people that post on XSG.
Anons
And a group that coordinates on Discord or Telegram.

Anons make regular posts discussing news, events related to the trial, Ripple's business dealings.
They also discuss being tired and demoralized from how long this court case has dragged on.

The Discord group will post Twitter screenshots of riddlers making vague hints and sometimes even specific dates.
They'll also post vague crap in here about stuff happening soon, or even specific dates.
When all of this garbage turns out to be lies, they are never held accountable,
because this is an anonymous forum,
And there is no way to know who posted what, from thread to thread.
They'll also post "isn't it interesting" and other bullshit statements, that don't actually say anything, in order to continually bump XSG, and keep it from getting archived.

The Discord group are a bunch of faggots,
And I wish they would stop posting here.
Let XSG die.
It should only exist when there is actual news.

What is the purpose of the Discord group?
Why would people do this?
It's a lot of work to do what they do.
And they've been doing it for years.
The only explanation that makes sense, is that they are being paid to do so.
People will shill for their own bags.
But not with this level of coordination and persistence.
I think they are being paid by Ripple, to promote XRP.
I suspect that this Discord group doesn't just operate here either.
I think they helped orchestrate the creation and management of the xrp community.
And community that defends Ripple and XRP online.
John Deaton was able to harness this community, gather testimonials, and use them to file an Amicus Brief in defence of Ripple, and against the SEC.
Without the XRP community already existing, would John Deaton have been able to gather as much support as he has?

Beyond the court case, it's good for Ripple to have an army of average people advocating for them online.

Before someone attacks me.
Let me say that 2 things can be true at once.
I still think Ripple is going to win it's lawsuit.
And XRP will eventually become the neutral bridge currency of the world.
But, there are also blatant shills on here, that coordinate together outside of 4channel.

Since there isn't much news going on right now,
If the Discord group wants to keep posting garbage false predictions and nonsense hype statements,
Let's instead talk about the Discord group,
Their behavior,
And their motives.

I'm also open to the idea that they are actually being paid to fud XRP.
By constantly posting demoralizing false prophecies.
Let's try and figure out which it is.
Are they shilling for XRP,
or are they fussing it?

FIP.01 has not been voted upon yet and the remaining 85% will not be distributed until there is a 66% consensus.
The crazy part is whales like the flare foundation, coinbase, and binance will get more than 66% of the airdropped FLR.
There are many questions i have, specifically whether FLR locked up in farming pools or staked to wxrp would still allow me to receive the remaining airdrop?
If anyone who wraps FLR is eligible for future airdrops then doesnt it make sense to sell immediately and buy back in close to the snapshot?

i presume that a "summary judgement" is just that, and not a settlement between the sec and ripple. it's interesting that both the sec and ripple requested this, and i wonder if it happens very often. certainly, it would diffuse some of the responsibility for whatever decision comes of it. nobody could say that the judge, or ripple, or the sec are individually entirely responsible. would they do this if the result weren't predetermined? if the sec were confident in their case, wouldn't they just go to trial if ripple didn't want to settle? why would the SEC request a summary judgement if not for fear of losing face at trial or some other unfavorable (for them) reason? it would be rather embarrassing if the securities and exchange commission, an agency nearly a hundred years old, with *securities* in its very name, did not actually know what a security is.

cont.

i read somewhere that the SEC has not lost a case like this in a very long time, and it would be natural that the agency in charge of securities would know what a security actually is. yet so much of the media coverage is signaling a loss for the SEC. common sense suggests there's no real reason to distinguish xrp from any other successful crypto, whose success also favors their inventors and early adopters. i have the sense that perhaps something extraordinary is happening.

I think it's more to do with the fact that a trial by jury, would be open to the public.
Imagine Hinman having to take the stand, and having to answer questions from Ripple's lawyers.
Imagine them openly discussing the Hinman emails in court.
As much as the SEC wants to drag this case on to hurt Ripple, and aid their competitors,
the SEC really doesn't want their dirty laundry being seen by everyone in a jury trial.

The real danger to me, is if Judge Torres decides that this is too big of a decision for her to make, and she sends this to a jury to decide.
That would really lengthen this whole lawsuit.
Which would especially suck, since summary judgement is probably going to happen as early as April,
Based on the timelines that one lawyer has out out.

Although, ironically, if this goes to jury trial, it might be the one and only thing, that would motivate the SEC enough to settle.

>> No.53159765

>>53159708
>I think it's more to do with the fact that a trial by jury, would be open to the public.

so what? it isn't the SEC's first rodeo. they're a hundred years old and regulating securities is their damned job. i'm not saying they'll win, it doesn't appear things are going well for the sec in this case. just that, if i understand, this is quite an exceptional case, and that under ordinary circumstances, the sec would certainly know better than to take on a case they aren't likely to win.

>> No.53159828

I think Ripple has a really strong, and unique defense against the SEC.
I'm not aware of anyone ever going after the actual basis of Howey, the way Ripple is.
No investment contract, i.e. Ripple made no agreement to do any specific work, AFTER, the sale of XRP,
On behalf of any buyers of XRP.
Therefore, there is no investment contract.
No investment contract, no common enterprise.

The SEC doesn't have the broad authority it pretends to have.
It just labels everything a security.
Then shakes companies down for cash.
This creates president.
There's no law that says the SEC has jurisdiction over crypto.
Loosing this lawsuit, will force Congress to draft legislation spelling out which agency actually governs crypto.

I don't fully understand their motivations.
I can only make guesses.
Yes, this case is very unique.

Gensler said a couple of months ago, that the SEC was going to be taking on some big cases,
And that they may not win all of them.

I think they know they are going to lose eventually.
Maybe they are just going through the motions, to save face.
Like, "we fought a hard fight. And we disagree with the judge's decision"
Whereas a settlement would involve some degree of them admitting they were wrong.
They lose authority doing that.

Or, let's also consider that the SEC isn't 1 person.
Gensler may be hoping that he can drag this case out long enough, that when the SEC loses, he's already retired,
And some other schmuck can be left holding the bag.

>> No.53159997

I don't think it's likely either.
But, the lawyer Jeremy Hogan, in his last video, laid out the possibility of judge Torres doing this.

He also laid out the possibility that she might decline to rule on this case at all.
And send the whole thing to the District Court of Appeals.
On the basis that this is a huge president setting case, and would be too large for her to decide.

He said these were unlikely.
But possible outcomes.

Let me be clear.
I think the most likely outcome is that Torres decides in favor of Ripple at summary judgement.
But it's good for people to be prepared for the possibility of this dragging on longer.
Even if it's not the most likely outcome.

Ripple has been doing an outstanding job building out the xrpl.
Establishing relationships with businesses, banks, and countries.
The only thing holding them back is this lawsuit.

Found an interesting thread from John Deaton, on January 1st.
Not sure if it's been discussed before.
https://twitter.com/JohnEDeaton1/status/1609635977248620544?s=20

He has a theory that the Hinman emails aren't as damaging as we thought,
And that the SEC has accepted they will eventually be made public.
He also theorizes that the SEC's win again LBRY win the FTX collapse has emboldened the SEC to be more aggressive in going after crypto.
And that is why they won't settle.
But instead, are going to roll the dice on summary judgement.

Bitrue Flare (Pre-distributed IOUs) is currently sitting at 50c each and only trading on 2 exchanges. With 15% AD distributed (4.278b Flr) the MCAP of the available supply is only 2.2b on day 0.

For the first month, it would need to x70 to beat mETH (modified the values on Exfi as FLR isn't listed yet). After each month, the mooning difficulty increases as an additional 2.37% (676m FLR) is released into the available supply, regardless of if FIP1 is approved. With the number of exchange listings off the bat with distribution to be staggered throughout a few weeks as each exchange has slightly different release dates, and considering if FIP1 is approved (causing agressive locking of tokens in WFLR and forcing the exchange supply down), price action will likely be sharp climbing to price discovery with occasional doomps with each exchange release that bounce back up quickly, caused from the initial dump from AD redeemers offset from people buying from the market and wrapping their FLR for about ~10% APY in 3.5 day reward epochs for the first ~6 months.

Keep in mind that with more people doomping their FLR from the airdrop, the more likely it is for FIP1 to be approved as their share would be bought at market and the % of holders that wern't included in the XRP claim increase and will also want gibs on top of delegation rewards.

Since it's Post-Quantum Signature Federated Byzantine Agreement with Turing-Complete Smart Contracts and Price Oracles (QRL, Ethereum, Avalanche and Stink rolled into one), it might actually have a chance to be the Eth killer.

anyone think that XRP is going to have a pump on the 9th, or shortly thereafter? I have this weird feeling well see something happen with the price with the flare launch and that will be used as evidence that others peoples work has the ability to pump the price of XRP which kind of renders the idea that XRP being a security dead.

I'm an equipment operator/truck driver. I do excavation for new construction and move materials to jobsites, as well as other trades work as needed.
CDLs require going to an actual school now, so employers can't pay the bare minimum for drivers.
I also got a crane certification, which I'm looking for work in. I'm reworking my resume tomorrow, and will apply to a few different jobs, but it'll basically double my income.
My current employer is so good to me that I almost don't want to leave, but I need to keep moving upward, and my employer doesn't have enough work for me to work equipment full time.

As for you, construction can be hard on the body, but it depends on the type of work you do. Equipment operating is generally white guys. Concrete, framing, and drywall crews are usually Mexican, which is alright, but unless you're Mexican you won't fit in, they do shoddy work most times but they work quick.
Electrical, plumbing and HVAC is the thinking man's trade. I don't wanna say I'm smart, but I work with some real retards, and some real smart guys.
You can find work as a helper if you don't have skills, electricians, HVAC, and plumbers will often do apprenticeships and pay for your classes to become certified. Helpers around here make about $15/hr and average rent for a small 1bd apartment is about $500.

What do you do currently?

the delay was really strange, so many strings have been being pulled and are starting to converge on something. Things in the crypto world and in the political world. There has been a huge overarching narrative that anons have been watching for a long time now, cant help but feel its coming to head...although I will admit I thought that things were about to happen a couple years ago, although in hind sight I can see that they were just another act in the play. We do seem to be coming to a crescendo though. The congressman today physically attacking and covering another's mouth was especially strange.

Yes, if FIP.01 passes.

I'm voting yes and buying more after the initial dump, as you get more out of delegation with significantly less inflation due to other aspects of FIP.01, otherwise FLR will likely do an Icy Pee with XRP phillipinos doomping every month and inflation being too high.

According to https://flare.network/fip01/
For PoS, the industry average is 48.08% staked. Considering FLRs delegation mechanism and high APY, I expect this to be much higher. If this number is correct, the circulating supply would be 2.02b FLR or an unlocked MCAP of 1.028b at current prices which only makes it a top 40 coin.

I think 50c is dirt cheap and will most likely moon if FIP.01 is approved after the initial dumping.

Maybe I'll read it later
Know this, I don't post for the normies
I post for those educating the normies
And since I specifically aim to trigger
Then only the best will understand
My unagreeableness is an intellectual barrier
It is not on accident
You think I can't just present in a way that's more agreeable? Hahaha of course I can but the issue is that I have to dumb down what I type and then I've just lead astray once more. No.
To put things into perspective, some of the old school PUA "redpill" people of the "manosphere" that exists today used to post here and other places. Do you think they who are now famous were the first to notice? Do you think Rollo and Donavan never met up in the biggest little city? That they never once got truly educated by the highest level anons on here with an ego and shifty attitude? Do you think Sandman really got his infernal hatred towards modern mating dynamics, expressed in such poignant way, all by himself?
No, they are the spokespeople claiming to be the originators but like all people at the forefront, they are just egotistical and want money, fame and power. And I do not blame them, but know how the game really works anon.
The true greatest works have a tone that sound insane, incoherent and filled with rage or anger disdain maybe and this is the essence of purpose giving purpose to the reader so long as the reader is great enough to pass through the intellectual barrier tone.

There are things we can get done, I've tried to organize and though I will admit I put very little effort in there wasn't much interest and so the timing is not appropriate. And probably not for a long time considering I don't just need casual interest, I need dedicated players wanting to win, listen to me while also sacrificing any real benefit to themselves (money, power, verifiable influence) and this is where we all fall short.

I've read alot of your posts but have noticed you always dance around. I enjoy you admitting the low effort. I've seen many tripfags since Oct of 2020 in these generals (marduk being one of the few decent ones) and they all assume the knowledge that they have must be gatekeeped by this intellectual barrier. How well could you understand what you're conveying if you can't effectively dumb it down without leading astray?
Everytime I go down these rabbit holes it leads to hate and further alienation of myself from the way weve been conditioned to think.
What's the purpose if you're alone in knowing and can't convince people of any truths. Everyone falls to their ego because that's the whole reason they take so quickly to the redpill. Anyone who gets close to understanding immediately becomes consumed by their narcissism. Things won't get done until the messengers between the source and the normies are fired up enough to lose all the values a normal human being has for humanity as a whole. No one is that noble.

it was never supposed to be all at once. There was supposed to be a larger initial drop, and then a slow drip over time after that. The problem is the new changes. In order to get your original allotment, you HAVE to stake your entire airdrop, and continue to stake the rewards in order to earn your original allotment. This means that up to a certain staked % you will get MORE with the fip. However, once we go past a certain % staked, people will get less than their allotment. Personally, I was originally planning on delegating a good portion of my stack and then selling the rest, now if I try that, I will end up with a good deal less than before.

Those difficult terms have definitions that end up being dead simple. Take the term anhydrous for instance. If you were to tell someone that doesnt know the lingo that you need anhydrous acetic acid, they will probably be confused. If you tell someone that you need acetic acid without any water in it, they would understand better. The point im getting at here is that lingo is used by groups to make an ingroup-outgroup hierarchy, where in order to be in the ingroup you need to study, not the process of whatever it is your doing, but instead know the vocabulary. I tell people all the time, learn vocab from everywhere you can. Vocabulary is the key to everything.

also, instead of acetic acid, you could use the word vinegar(although this isnt 100% as vinegar presumes that the acetic acid has been diluted to about 5%).

I don't mind delegating it all and forgetting about it if it actually results in something cool. It would be nice if Flare Network actually resulted in something innovative and valuable instead of being another ubiquitous hyped up network with no real world use case and a plummeting or stagnant valuation.
That said, the "real world use-case" of most of this shit is almost entirely bad from the standpoint of the almost universal descent into overt and malevolent tyranny of the world's blackmailed and corporate penetrated leadership. So really, like many here, I suppose the intent is a kind of alchemical aikido inflection: take the chains they seek to bind you in and turn them into a ring of invisibility, liberty, propagating life, and creativity.

You sound like Destiny.
Anon, you know what I meant, and that was something somewhat simple like chemistry. Imagine you wanting me to mass redpill people (by myself) on geopolitics, the evolution of warfare, real human nature, the fabric of reality, economics, all interpersonal relationship dynamics, all in the ultra peak based and redpilled way which means that I'll have to explain each thing from the ground up while somehow assuming I will be trusted enough for people to actually read it oh and also explain my thoughts on the timeline of things in relation to the cyclical cataclysmic events and shit why not through in psychology, occult hermeticism the source of all religions from which the secret societies base their beliefs off of and to top it off why don't I just explain the nature of God tie it all together to explain why such incredibly simple statements like
The problem is choice
There is no spoon
Good or evil nothing more nothing less
Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming
God always wins
I am
Are so incredibly complex that it's only able to be appreciated by the low IQ midwits and the high IQ know it all faggots like myself (meaning I'd have to explain the midwit dilemma, and how this dictates the actions of the two covertly waring factions in the aforementioned secret societies that run everything) so that in the end I can confuse even the smartes geniuses with little wisdom with the statement "nothing matters and why this means everything matters" attempting to have them understand the forces of eternal creation and absolute annihilation in the hopes that it'll then be easier to explain how the powers within the fabric of reality itself wage war whose chaos creating order extends into the material which then creates chaos forever and why that's a good thing

You are confusing explaining something for actually having to solve a problem with information. You can easily explain math concepts to people (they do of course have to understand the basics of math, nothing can be gained trying to explain anything in any amount of depth to someone purposefully ignorant). For instance, explaining multiplication to someone does not require you to write out anything with numbers, you can simply say that multiplication is where you add a number to itself a given number of times(you know that subtraction, multiplication and even division can be accomplished with addition right?) If I were to explain the reaction of baking soda and vinegar, there is no need to bring math to the table...now If I wanted to know the beginning molecular weights of each chemical and the molecular weight of the end product, then yes I would need math...but why is this information relevant in a basic description of the reaction? Also, calculators exist. My point I was trying to make is that truly nothing we do in this world is difficult. Its all dead simple, the problems come when the level of complexity gets raised. If you are trying to explain something to a blank slate, their knowledge of EVERYTHING must be built.

Our world is complex, in that we have layers of things that we need to understand to even be able to do the simplest things. Take making a cup of tea for instance (100% form scratch). Its difficult to even comprehend the necessary steps here without a foundational set of knowledge. "take tea leaves" well where did these come from "ok so start with soil" well we need to know what nutrients this soil needs "what are nutrients" well they are things that support the growth of an organism. "what is an organism, what is support?" Its extremely reductive and itll go on for literally ever. But, you or I would have 0 issues starting form scratch, growing a tea bush, making sure the soil has the correct nutrients, that its getting enough sunlight, the process of drying the leaves, the boiling of water, the steeping of the tea....these would be easy as breathing for someone mired deep in the vocabulary. Vocabulary is then used as a gatekeeper to keep people who cant be bothered to learn the terminology out of the field. The truth of this world is that if everyone walking around had immediately access to what each word meant (and were physically capable of carrying out a task) we could have many many many more rocket scientists, surgeons, etc. Not that this is 100% a good thing, people are strange and sometimes like to watch things be destroyed...however with this gatekeeper (vocabulary) we can keep many of these less savory people out (who are generally of lower intelligence and quality of humans)

i found something interesting regarding schwartz's distributed computing patent he filed when he was 13 or whatever
so some people think john nash, the schizo game theory dude from "a beautiful mind," is satoshi (for what it's worth i don't think this is true but satoshi was definitely conversant with his ideas)
https://jongulson.medium.com/19-reasons-john-f-nash-jr-was-satoshi-nakamoto-14a291355b86

in that article it talks about a paper Nash wrote for Rand (!) called "Parallel Control"
https://www.rand.org/content/dam/rand/pubs/research_memoranda/2008/RM1361.pdf
it's more or less about the advantages of an entrained system of many computers working on a task instead of one big centralized powerful computer. real XRP heads will see this and think "hey that sounds like David Schwartz's patent!"
https://patents.google.com/patent/US5025369A/en
>A multilevel distributed computer system for distributed processing preferably includes a plurality of personal computers. A task inputted to the system is divided into a plurality of portions. As many of the portions as possible are distributed for processing on the lowest level of the system.
Schwartz's patent has a few twists- having the task be run on personal computers, the multi-level thing, etc- but still, there are some interesting similarities, especially when you see that both Nash and Schwartz are candidates for Satoshi

Now isn't that interesting? Hmm? Guys?

I agree 100%
The level of complexity in explaing this stuff >>53179385 to the average person is incredibly high and in the end, like most people, they will still struggle to actually act on the knowledge they have come across.
And, in case you haven't noticed, there are many new waves of influencers and voices out there that cover these things, the economics stuff is covered generally by the crypto/precious metals people the ancaps cover the government stuff, them alongside the people into warfare and weapons can cover the fuller geopolitics picture for greater insights into many of these things you have Clif High, truly one of a kind, for interpersonal dynamics you have the rising manosphere content to counter the feminists which also covers the government economics side of things lightly, the hardest one is the hyper complex (yet simple, I know the difference, an engine is basically just harnessing energy from ignited boom liquid in small space which makes tire spin, everything else is complexity to optimize this) discussions of philosophy and religion, those will be difficult and the players in this haven't come.. The cataclysmic events, suspicious observer is watching, Graham hancock is on the path too.

what if todays flare airdrop goes like this:

>Everyone who didn't know the upcoming proposal or wants to "buy the bottom", sells, gets rekt because they had to hold&wrap flr otherwise they don't get the rest of their stack (85%)
>proposal gets passed, price skyrockets because nobody wants to sell because they would lose their initial 85%
>everyone who sold gets burned and loses rest of their flr airdrop

i'm urge to sell and buy the bottom, but i think everyone else thinks that too..

I'm scared of that proposal if it gets passed, FLR price might just not dump at all and only crab or even pump.

good news flare anons. Hugo just confirmed in this mornings AMA that you will be able to utilize your wFLR in smart contracts (say to provide liquidity) while stil maintaining your airdrop allocation. The smart contract just needs to be programmed to have it automatically push the rewards to you, which is something the FLR team is pushing for the contract writers to do.

I regret not selling SGB at the top, both after airdrop and again at ExFi snapshot so I am tempted to dump FLR immediately

However I realise the way they have structured this airdrop strongly rewards holding it, so I am going to be a sucker and not dump it

Very interesting.

I haven't been following Flare for the past year because I got sick of all the delays. When it was first announced, people were speculating that FLR would need to be about 10% of the price of XRP to provide liquidity. Is this still the case? Can we expect the price of FLR to level out around 3 or 4 cents?

No one is reporting you. It's just that you're in the wrong place to try to earn a name for yourself. I can explain it in great detail, but it's not going to make a difference to you. Whatever.
