The reason is simple it's because if you get paid weekly there are 4 months in every year that have 31 days and so therefore depending on which day you get paid you actually get five paychecks rather than four which means you make more money when you get paid weekly. Some months have five Wednesdays Tuesdays and Thursdays some months have five Fridays depending on the year. Either way if you get paid weekly there are some months where you get five paychecks.
