Lucky move: sold Amazon and Gazprom in

Not optimal: bought the dip much too early, in February-May but the real bottom was June and October.
Good: bought mostly low P/E stocks that held well. European banks surprised to the upside.

I spent three weeks in hospital and didnt even need to worry that deals might go wrong, because my portfolio of low-correlation stocks moved less than the market.

Lessons learned: Risk management, and fundamentals can work in a bad market.
