Couldn’t make it through all of these but what I would conclude from the horror stories I did read I would boil it down to two sins: greed and ego

Greed is self-explanatory but so many posts had a theme of “I have always been rational and intelligent” or “I figured things out and was just about to beat the game all the other fools played”. Even with all of their money lost they wouldn’t let go of their arrogance.

I personally lost tens of thousands with buying watches but didn’t lost anything trading, I broke even then bought bonds and savings. I am what you could call, just a little bit retarded but still solvent. See how I just said I was a little retarded, you too could not lose your money with such a mentality.
