Got this for Christmas it’s a Liberian 9/11 Memorial $20 coin and it came with a certificate from the mint saying it is .999 silver however I can’t find an ASW on the internet for it. I don’t have a scale and it actually seems to not be fully silver all the way through because of the weight and the side is not silver

Same. Stack however you'd like. I'll probably continue stacking 100:1 Ag:Au until I hit 1k oz/10 oz. at which point I'll probably change the ratio to be more gold heavy. Maybe 20:1 or whatever I feel like when that day comes.
Gold is definitely the more solid performing investment, but I'm wagering that silver will increase in value far more than gold will during a price correction.

It's as good a time as any if you DCA. That being said, you should try to buy full ounces whenever possible since they're substantially lower premium than fractional coins and bars.

JMBullion is starting to charge really high premiums. They use4d to be what I called the "Costco of precious metals" in the US anyway. Their prices and variety were always good, but if you shopped around you could get a better deal elsewhere. It was a great place to go if you wanted to buy a whole bunch of different items, as it's difficult to find all those items on any other single site.

Since you're buying enough to get free shipping and it'll be just one piece, I'd recommend shopping around a little more. Try
- SilverGoldBull: they have really good prices on gold, but their choices are limited and the inventory switches very often.
- BoldPreciousMetals and MonumentMetals: really good prices, choices are more stable and wider variety than SilverGoldBull.
Shop around: don't settle. Treat your earnings with respect.

>> No.53055982

>>53055826
P.S. Part of that rather high price on the Tiger is that it's last year's and becoming scarce. Prices for coins rise when their run is done. So maybe it's not a bad deal, if that pattern is one you insist on - it isn't likely to get cheaper unless gold itself goes down a fair bit.

The proper way to view metals is it being "wealth" that you store that is not an investment or currency. Stocks are overleveraged, currency is being diluted. Scarcity will precious metals vacuuming up ungodly amounts of purchasing power as people come to terms with the actualization that debts can't be paid that are many multiples of the U.S. GDP. The dollar system we live under maintains purchasing power that is internationally political in nature. We don't ship goods overseas and pay in dollars only to have commodity prices destroy the payment made of goods. That is very short sighted, so there is a vested interest in keeping commodity prices suppressed. It is political. These are economic treaties and backroom negotiations in the works that most of us have no clue about. By suppressing price, we have been creating shortages of metal. And the amount of dollars created that represents pent-up demand sitting in bonds, stock, and real estate hasn't a chance in hell ever seeking a home in commodities without a catastrophic move higher in the price. How long can the $46TN bond market suffer 10% inflation? $4TN is close to 20% of U.S. GDP just evaporating into thin air in terms of value lost. These numbers are alarming, but I actually don't have to worry about any of it because I have a massive pile of wealth stored outside of the banking system.
This dollar devaluation is effectively a default. Unlike classic bank runs where the last man in line loses out, all dollar holders share in the losses. And to the extent you own dollars and leveraged assets you lose in proportion to it.
Claims to wealth are not what they once were. And it is not until it is too late will you actually see this shown in the price of PMs. When the music stops, it will be too late.

I literally have a bag of crushed aluminum cans that will ALWAYS have value. Even in Weimar tier economic conditions, refined aluminum is still needed and will carry value. Silver, for instance, has the most bullish fundamental case I can think of. The world will always need it and people will always pay for it in order to secure industry. The need for metal cares not for what happens to banks, finance, Wallstreet, etc. Those issues do not concern me and my metals.

Well yea I mentioned I was posting in here and another thread and that's how the mix up happened, you have what 30, 40 posts in this thread with a serious fixation with homosexuals and a dislike for them, maybe even a hate for them, you seem a little unstable. You should definitely work on that since you are going to be monitored now.

I bought 90g of dypsrosium for like 1/3rd of spot price. Currently sat at $647 per kg. From what I understand it has very little practical usage, but I don't give a shit it was 1/3rd of spot. Not sure what the market is for it but seeing as I got it for 1/3rd of spot I imagine there's none whatsoever. Guy sells it from Kazakhstan on eBay and he has loads of other rare earth metals for well under spot. Probably gonna pick up some other stuff after a bit more investigation. I also have some gallium which is pretty fun. Only an ounce though.

Brand definitely has an effect. Englehard and PAMP have been the top-tier generic bar performers in my world. Antique bars are also very pricey (uncommon and historical value). Reliable performers are coins, and the best are coin series with popular themes. Alas, it's hard to know what will become popular.
