As far as the labor force, you've got some millions conked out on fentanyl and NEETbux plus Boomers who retired early. If credit's maxed out for the former group, they'll just steal luxury items and laugh at any collector calls.

The latter are not willing to move for new jobs because they're sitting on fixed rate mortgages and HELOCs. Rate hikes mean they'd get a fuckton less house in any new location.

>since I can't think of any publicly traded repo services, it looks like GEO is back on the menu? are they still a thing?

I bagged up all the pieces and put them back into the box. I'll keep it. Just won't bother putting it together.

The other EV companies cannot afford to undercut the competition. Their margins are too small. They also have massive debt. Tesla does not have debt.
For example,Toyota has $124 billion in long term debt
Guess what long term debt Tesla has? $2 billion.
The other EV makers have 4% margin
They cannot afford to lower their prices. Tesla can. That is the whole point
>yes that's how you take market share away retard-kun, you under cut the other asshole
Yes.. and Tesla is able to undercut, is able to lower their prices, on top of the new $7,500 tax credit they are eligible for. Tesla has an 18-30% margin that they can shave off and can afford to undercut

Any rich fuck who wanted a tsla already has one. It's the middle class that matters and they won't be buying in a recession when the rug is ripped out from under them. People are coming up on refinancing and are going to be in a shock at their new intrest rate. It's already happening to alot of people. Not to mention have the country has zero savings. Teslas are also getting a bad reputation for poor build quality, buyers remorse.

i would agree the car industry's debt looks pretty awful. but.
chevy bolt is $20k. model 3 is $40k.
no one cares if tesla dropped their price from $50k to $40k, the bolt is far more attractive for customers who are concerned about price.

if tesla drops their prices to stay competitive, their terrific margin story goes out the window, and valuations will reflect that.

The inflation rate can, and usually does, change every 6 months. We set the inflation rate every May 1 and November 1. We base the inflation rate on changes in the non-seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U)> for all items, including food and energy.
Plus its divided for whole year or something which is why its 6.8% something when CPI isnt.

With fractional shares, a broker API and some simple python code, I can be as diversified as I want to be.
Please consider my strategy and feedback
>consider all stocks in the MSCI developed world index
>disqualify all stocks trading below their 100-day SMA
>disqualify all stocks with a daily change greater than 15% in the last 100 days
>calculate Risk Parity portfolio of remaining stocks using robust (partially mean-reverting) estimate of volatility and correlation
>rebalance each Wednesday
>however, if the MSCI Developed Index is below it's 200-day SMA, only conduct the selling portion of the rebalancing. No buying in bear market.
Pic largely related, a risk parity instead of market cap weighted version of the S&P500.

Why shill cpi reports or what verb Powell uses. Narration to market events is sexy even if it's stupid and the result of 0.2% cpi beat was washed away in half a day

Why does the efficient market have constant bear market rallies in every bear market. Why does every bull market have -8% moves every 3 months

It's human stupidity in the market. Either exploiting it or being the exploited by such stories. In two weeks they will look for a new story whether to buy or sell

I get it, China is lifting restrictions and supposed to be doing QE. It just seems too ez and the fact it’s on twitter makes me think it’s already too late.
In any case I have been eyeing two ETFs for the play.
I’m phone posting right now but one is an asian emerging markets ETF and one is a 3x leveraged China ETF called YINN.
On a pair of iffy weekly EMAs (12,21) the non leveraged one looks like it’s about to hit a bullish cross.
I did some level to level TA on it and I’m not the best but looks like it’s just under some resistance.
I kinda wanna see how tomorrow plays out and then maybe throw some cash at it on a whim.

Granted one of those might be my cousin's and one might be from the company. My other rich aunt owns 2 range rovers and used to own 1 tesla. I think those classic rich people cars have been going out of favor. Either the rich people keep the older ones because the quality is better or they go for larger models.
