i was really thinking when would be the right time to cashout (pretty much 90+% of my networth [besides some real estate] is in cryptos), because my biggest position currently is monero and with good news coming in 2018 (hw wallet , kovri , bulletproofs) , am thinking i will hold till these realeases and then sell a part.

I would like to keep somethng like 30-35% of my networth in cryptos

That's brilliant, I didn't make quite as much but I invested much less. Still I'm sitting comfy as fuck right now. I've dumped all my BTC two days ago.

The only investment which seems reasonable if you can hold for a month or two is LTC it's going to be large. And the worst is over with Lee declaring himself out.

I might dabble here and there inbetween.

Not sure if my advice is useful, but I always invested with the long-term in mind, and I always treated it like a hobby rather than getting really stressed over ups and downs. I also make sure to keep my pride in check - it sucked buying ethereum at $80 when I called it shit at $15, but I guess it paid off. It's the price of making sure that a coin isn't just a PnD, I guess. I follow the news and /biz/ out of interest, but almost never act on it.

And, of course I think I'm lucky. I hope that luck will continue in 2018, but if not, I've already come this far, so I plan on holding until I can retire, no matter how long it takes.
