Mazda and lexus have flipped back and forth on top reliability over the last few years. Only reason mazda would be less reliable is because they have a turbo 2.5 and lexus/toyota puts in slow boomer engines, slowest car in every class.

I’ve had my boomer Toyota Avensis for a few years now. It doesn’t have issues, it’s got everything I want and I don’t get paranoid about it for any reason, it won’t get stolen, it’s not likely to break down and it never looks out of place.
