The only difference between crypto and regular gambling is that for the most part, you can't study/research beforehand to increase your chances of winning most regular gambling games since they are literally games of chance and nothing more
Crypto on the other hand, you can study and compare cryptos in their early/cheap stages and SOMETIMES you can pick one that's basically destined to greatly increase in value based on the crypto's stated goals/the team behind it....or you can anticipate a shorting opportunity based on early info that you have. So it's not purely based on chance, but it's still a gamble since there have been plenty of times in crypto when the 'next big thing' ended up flopping or when some shitcoin randomly mooned like crazy when it was expected to die a slow gradual death
