Depends what kinda subnet it is, if its permissionless you dont even need a marketplace, you just buy the tokens in the IDO and then validate that Subnet with your Avalanche Validator, you could also buy these tokens on the market (trader joe maybe) and go from there.
If its permissioned you would need to KYC in the ICO and fullfill whatever other requirements (besides hardware) the Subnet has.

Good info, anon. Guess I should clarify. Those are just questions I ask myself to see if I should buy more QI tokens. I think BenQi is one of the few native Avax projects that is committed to the subnet narrative. I’m starting to get convinced they will play a big role soon and the QI token will see more demand. veQi will play a bigger role when more subnets come online. that's for sure, they are extremely forward-thinking with the staking and delegation system on Avalanche, and their BLS system is beneficial for all validators, would be hard to find someone who is obsessed with Staking as much as Benqi is. Many people actually really underestimate how huge delegations are going to be, and how interesting delegation will be when no validator looks the same and everyone will have different rewards from different subnets, imagine including all of this into BLS. mite b cool.
This makes for some interesting dynamics and opportunities for Validators too, imagine having such an attractive Validator that everyone delegates to. would be like printing free money.
Eventually, many others will follow with similar systems once they figure out the game, so it would make sense to look out for these projects, as all of them will have a token too.
So far I havent seen anyone who is even remotely as far into this as Benqi, if it translates into the token price going up is everyones guess same as how long all of that will take to develop but might be a decent bet during the golden Subnet Bullrun.

at $40B which is BNBs current mcap it would reach a little below it's prev ATH, so only a 10x

Avalanche is also the only place where DeFi truly works. Eventually it will be used for that, there are already decentralized cloud computing platforms building with Avalanche Subnets, Deepsquare for example just recently moved over from Ethereum to Avalanche because Subnets is what they need for a high performance task like this.
Basically people will be able to buy and sell GPU power to generate AI stuff.
Many more such platforms will be launching in the future and they will be all Subnets on Avalanche.
