I signed up on Gate.io to check out fees and it's absolutely horrendous in terms of deposit and withdrawal. Trading fees on BTC pair looks free though.
Minimum 0.011 BTC withdrawal and 0.001 BTC fee, so $184 minimum and $16 cost. Not very usable for the average person. Fiat deposit will cost about $80 for $4500 because you either deposit by bank transfer for $1.02 per USDT or you pay less than the visa/mastercard fees for "free" with some shady third party company that undoubtedly has no way to make profit other than fraud since they are so far below card fees that they almost definitely can't turn a profit doing card transfers for free without selling personal information or scamming random users.
Only redeeming factor was free btc deposits and a $3 withdrawal cost on erc20 qrdo. Think I'll just use Kucoin for that though even though they stole $10 from me. Both exchanges are probably insolvent anyways.
