I 100% think the markets are rigged & jewed up so it makes me uneasy

Money market + T bills and also put some in longer bonds like 2 or the 5 year so that you'll have some income secured farther out. The rates are good now but we very well could back to ZIRP in a year if the recession is deep enough. Then just wait until the housing market comes back to reality and go for it. Don't touch the stock market until after it crashes.

You're money is now the liability of the federal government, so it'll be safe unless the government implodes or Wealthfront makes SBF it's CEO. Just to let you know the FDIC limit is higher than $250k for cash sweep accounts like this because your money is deposited across several banks that each give a $250k FDIC guarantee.

Good job, OP. That's probably the best move at this point in time. Any longer than 3 months and I'd be nervous. But 3 months is short enough time. Ally is paying 3.3% on savings, good to be able to keep cash liquid, but anything over $250k in a single account is silly. Gotta spread 'em to go get 'em dat FDIC insurance

FDIC insurance is a scam
250k in AGGREGATE
if you spread 1M in 4 banks, it's still 250k in AGGREGATE
and if the insurance goes bust because of some major collapse, they give you zero
effectively FDIC insurance doesn't work at all when you need it
think about it like Bancor impermanent loss protection that works only when nobody need it, and it's suspended when everything is collapsing
both jewish scams to let you think you are somehow protected

this is one of the reasons why US treasuries are truly called "risk free"

even the banks may default and FDIC, like any other form of insurance, will find loopholes to avoid covering full payout. But if the US govt defaults, it's literally the end of the global financial system - so they won't, unless it's literally the end of the world anyway, in which case money no longer has value anyways.
