it's just funny how women have become educated, wealthy, and sexually free, but as a result they've completely priced themselves out of the dating market because they are biologically designed to be choosey with mates and always date across and/or up, never down. so the more educated and more money they make, the smaller the pool of men who are equal or above them. and so they end up as cat ladies.

women are biologically programmed to loathe men who can't provide for them. this whole situation we all find ourselves in is unnatural. men working and providing for women who take care of the household and have lots of babies is the way things are SUPPOSED to work. now (((they))) have succeeded in FORCING things to work differently, and, well, we're now paying the consequences for it.

now all women of means want ultra chads but the ultra chads are few and far between and know that everyone wants them, so they have no reason to settle down and can instead be hyper promiscuous, especially with technology like tindr to aid them. basically everyone except the tiny minority of ultra chads loses in this scenario.

DeSantis *IS* "Trump without the baggage", though. I'm a staunch conservative who voted for Trump twice, and even I think he lost the plot when he became a schizo over the stolen election thing. He's not even wrong, the election WAS stolen from him, but he has no empirical evidence to prove it so instead he just became an unhinged crazy person and the MSM has taken full advantage of that. They're still taking advantage of that to this day. That's the problem.

Trump did his job. He was the battering ram that knocked the door in. He walked so DeSantis could run. I mean, I love Trump but I just don't see how you can make the argument for him becoming president again given current circumstances unless you're a schizo yourself who wants civil war. And of course this is 4chan so I wouldn't be surprised if you are, but that shit is stupid and doomed to fail now that things have gotten to this point.

We don't talk enough about bonds. I mean, for the past two decades, they were obviously shit considering the rate policy. But considering ho much they got wrecked, and how much the rates did rise, wouldn't buying a bunch of bonds be a good idea for their "divy"?
Honestly, my best move these past two years was going balls deep into divy stocks (= oil companies). I know people here have a hatebonner against divies, but I fucking love them. It feels just right having my rent paid by divies.

It's true, but it's also not necessarily a bad thing. Company makes money, and it gives me back that money. I can do whatever I want with that money, including buying share of the same company again, or share for another one. There's the question of taxes, I don't know how it works in the US, but in my Europoor country I have an envelope where I don't get taxed as long as I keep the money inside it, I guess it works the same for your 401K or whatever, so essentially it's a non-issue for divies.
Now let's take a live example right now of companies that don't give divies and are in keep-holding-as-it's-better-to-have-the-share-price-rise-instead : Kikebook and TSLA.
Honestly, I'd rather have my share of money distributed every year or quarter, instead of being in a hodl mode and being hostage of whatever dumb shit the CEO will do. And don't tell me "you just have to sell then", because it will already be too late, you know this, you won't beat them.
Meanwhile, the divy company will at least have distributed part of its earnings to me over the years. A fall from the same kind of dumb decisions will have less of an effect.
Holding forever stuff that goes up is no more better than holding divy stock that do the same. It's riskier, I'd argue. Of course you can sell by yourself bit by bit, but then it's not different than owning a divy stock, and you're not anymore in a hodl forever strategy. With the added risk of doing something wrong at the right time, which statistically has 90% chance of happening.

on the contrary, if you have a longer time horizon then capital gains from the s&p 500 are better. and that still pays ~2% in dividends. no dividend strategy would have beaten the ~200% gains of the past 10 or so years either.

if you are wanting to withdraw money and spend it then higher dividends are better (usually)
