Yeah, all exchanges do that. Crypto exchanges charge too little to be able to pay their bills, so they "reinvest" the money they get from people in high-risk, high-reward investments (mostly crypto). But, hear me out now, how many of those investments have ended positively in the last year?
Crypto exchanges are literally giving and taking inside loans from one to another to be able to "wash" the money of their clients. They are one bank run away from collapsing the entire industry.
