Serious question are you a fucking retard or do you just want to fuck over fellow anons?

It’s going to get way way way fucking worse. Usually it takes a while for massive rate increases to have an impact. I’d say the crash will happen in February.

Philly fed lied about jobs and revised down 1.09 million jobs created. What makes you think the fed will keep raising?

I didn't say it was the bottom you retard I said we're gonna have one last failed rally for christmas before things go way down again in january. That's why it's called a santa rally, because after the 25th, you throw the cake out.

unironically not true, there will be 0.5% more AT MOST

then we go to pivottown straight back to 0.1%

>> No.52955210

Im not sure. It seems like everyone now “knows” for sure that the final big crash is coming. Macro environment looks like shit but can change really quickly. I can see us just crabbing / going slightly lower through q1. Powells job is to keep talking tough on rates, and then he can always pivot in ‘23, citing that the data permits for it. I know I know he said he wouldnt until ‘24.

3 or 4 more reports showing cooled CPI and a few higher than expected unemployment reports could have us in a very different sentiment come q2 ‘23. I think a lot of people expecting a 2008 style crash are going to be disappointed.

We’re getting a bull run in February but it’s not gonna touch the ATH’s. The Fed will pause rate hikes and we’ll crack up. The market will eventually dump back lower than it’s at now, but don’t get too euphoric bobro

That's not the point. The point is Powell intends to keep high interest rates throughout minimum most of 2023. This leads to the Bullwhip effect - interest rate hikes don't destabilise the economy overnight.

We’re closer to the bottom than you realize, but Powell will eventually stop raising rates and pause. That itself will cause a large market rally, and we’ll likely see uglier markets in Q3 2023 or later. The fed will only pivot once our economy is in shambles, not a moment before.
