I'm not sure which 30 year old numbers you're looking at if you legitimately believe that nuclear is more expensive though. Technology has advanced. Even without the massive subsidies and special interests that solar/wind gets, even despite the huge pushes of negative publicity, nuclear has still managed to stay ahead. This is precisely why mainstream liberals continue to fight against it.
