The XRPL is an UNREAL product. It's great. It's been up and running, with no forks or down time for a DECADE.
Nothing else is this good.
You don't need Ripple to use it and the XRPL is the most decentralized ledger in the world as far as actual nodes run by known parties.
So...amazing product TOTALLY ASIDE from Ripple. Ripple can go out of business and it still exists.

I do international business and import about a million to a million and a half worth of shit a year and fees and tx costs probably end up around $20,000/y to do so. Possibly more.
So...Asian countries already accept XRP. I have literally paid for an import with XRP before but it was with some podunk operation.
Advantages for the taking don't sit around forever without someone taking the advantage.
