I’d say that you can probably find sovereigns or 20 francs for the lowest premium as far as fractional coins go. But the trick is to buy them in person, if you’re ordering online you might have to deal with sales tax which gets pretty spendy.

I got a 20 franc for 2% over melt today, and occasionally you can get stuff for melt if you’re lucky. Check out coin shows, otherwise maybe your LCS will hook you up.
