how low do you think Chainlink ends up realistically? No troll answers. remember most the money is locked up in staking so people can't panic sell as much as they used to.

Unironically $3...the problem is that I don't feel it will pump again, we might see $20 during the next bullrun if we're lucky.

To add onto this, their definition of a marketing is to spam twitter integrations of zero substance and their definition of communication is to type a long winded post on a nerd chat room (discord) that no ordinary investor even knows about. This entire thing is a joke at this point. A colossal dumpster fire, and they have no way to fix it, so theyll just double down on more twitter spam.

It's actually something I've had thoughts of towards the next bull run. I think it will obviously come but I have a suspicion it might actually be a run that doesn't necessarily btfo past highs. It will be under high rates and general recession, so I genuinely think what people read as the "recovery" may actually be the totality of the 2024 (probably) run. Hard to predict so far out but of note is that even with the mass inflation we actually fell below past cycle ATHs for the first time and not even by a small margin.

Eric was right in calling out Sergey at SmartCon

Too bad Sergey is a dumb piece of shit and thinks he knows everything. Like the autist he is he will keep doing ZOOM calls and hiring woke HR leftists until this project gets mogged by a new oracle solution. Link crashing from rank 5 to rank 24 in less than two years should have been enough to kick him out...but here we are

This is more a general crypto comment but think about it with chainlink, typically a chainlink bubble is around 4-6x depending on what you count as the start. The largest was a 10x on the CB/google pump in 2019.

In order to get back to the chainlink ATH it would have to be the second largest run it ever had at x8, and second largest by quite a gap. This is all during a newly bad economic background. Can it do it? Yeah maybe, but i don't think it will make sense next run to call for a cycle that goes much beyond that.

it can pump at full staking (2024) when all the coins are locked up. It is also outperforming on the btc/eth chart, it means it can solo run. A x20 is not out of the outcomes, everything seems darker before it gets better. People will fomo in btc once war ends and Powell stops hiking. Just think about that: with all these bear rate hikes projections still SP500 has not cratered, this means we are close to the bottom, 10k or 15k it doesnt matter that much. Everyone knows about halving and there will be fomo in a period when rate hikes will be over, btc may reach 80k but other coins could outperforming it.

>> No.52912707

Don't forget a lot of "old" projects stay behind on the next bullrun. 2017 projects like lisk, ark, ripple, neo barely moved in 2021.

If there will be a next bullrun (which i highly doubt after so many normies got burned by FTX and the next cefi exchange that's going to collapse in the coming months) you can consider yourself lucky chainlink goes back to maybe $20.

>t. Sold at $44 and made a few million and will never buy back in

It had its run, you want to make it wait for the market to recover and then look for the next big pump scamcoins. This whole market is just a casino, anon. Shitcoins don’t come back after they die.

This is just sad copium and you know it

You're deluding yourself into thinking that locking up a portion of Link will make the coin pump...hint it won't. Chainlink Labs can literally sell more than 200 million tokens just to pay for their expenses. Those faggots sold roughly 140 million tokens between 2019 and 2021 and basically killed any type of upward movement.

Plus>>52912707 is right, plenty of tokens never make a new ATH during the next bullrun. Crypto is a purely speculative space and projects with no hype simply tend to die out. Don't marry your bags or you'll end up bagholding like XRP baggies

If we lose the $5 support after half a year of accumulation and 3 BTC crashes preventing a breakout it will create a new range in the $4 zone and will increase our suffering time by another 6 months...

Also the FED already broke everything and hiked into a recession.
They will have to backtrack next year strongly after they find out they fucked up again.

The numbers for hobs have been cooked for the mid terms and the FED kept hiking while jobs were not getting created but destroyed at a horrendous pace.
Same with the inflation.
They faked the numbers, but the reality is different from what they pretend to be official.

They use fake numbers to explain actions.

Chance of $2 link in the coming months? And if it does hit will it recover?

>> No.52915315

>>52915119
$3-4 is a possibility if BTC shits everything again but at some point Sergey may start buying back his own tokens to dump then in the next bull run.
He should have more than a billion in reserves.
If LINK dumps to $1-2 he can buy back all the dumped liquidity for less than 100 millions.

Tech stocks like Apple do share buybacks.
Even Binance buys their own tokens to burn it and reduce the supply.
Chainlink could buy it back at a very low price to use it as staking reward for their community pool.

Even as someone staked it will be pretty funny and based if the team were to swing trade the staking release. They dumped 12m(?) on the staking announcement in november so if they bought the same back at a low price it would be vicious.

I had a dream where crypto had a general crash and LINK was a little over $2.70, maybe $2.73, $2.74, $2.78, can’t remember. Some anon told me a while ago that “they” (whoever that is, market manipulators I guess) wouldn’t let LINK go below $5, so $5.00 could be the floor though.
