People are buying new phone/electronics every year.
People are paying subscriptions services every month.
People are buying new clothes every week.
People are paying overprice processed foods every day.

Have we reach the peak of consumerism? This is not sustainable isn't? Where do we go from this? Discuss.

we need to simply let banks and all intermediaries in the shadow banking system fail and then go back to a crypto based version of the wildcat banking era

Cbdc's and UBI + goverment stimulus.

This is literally just the beginning. A divide will grow between the consumeristic temporary vs the cryprographic permenent. fiat users will be forced to continue this consumerism of temporary shit each year, while btc holders will only buy that which has comparable longevity to btc itself - high quality

How long we would rely on the government? The money printer can't keep printing.

I'm just oversimplifying it. People in my country (especially gen z and millenial) are literally buying clothes with credit/paylater.
