And that's the reason I hate banks and want crypto to thrive. I don't even want to get rich, just not having to deal with banks is my goal. They blocked my account on 3 different occasions, and I had to go to the agency to explain where the money had come from (1 occasion) or why I was spending so much money in a short period of time (2 occasions).

Fuck banks and fuck anyone that defend them.

My bro does this as his day job; monitoring accounts. I've seen the laptop. There are some blatant laundering efforts on there. But that said, they basically have zero crypto training or awareness and a lot of them have literally zero qualifications beyond 16 years old basics.

I have more than one bank account, if that's an indicator for my confidence in the monitoring process.

The computers at banks monitor accounts for things like rapid repeat withdrawals and deviations from average throughput etc. If it goes outside a band or triggers an alert, a person reviews it. If it's suspicious, it gets raised as a suspicious activity report. The report gets reviewed by another department. If it's deemed overly suspicious they pay the money out to another bank etc and close the account. But yeah, there's a substantial amount of code missing; e.g. they have to hand type in pages of stuff you could just web scrape from the it's, companies house etc. They are far, far more behind in that manner than you might imagine.

It's nowhere near as sophisticated as you think. There are some rules that they hardcode for accounts/transactions to get flagged, but it is always reviewed by a human (usually pajeet contractor) who can then file a SAR or escalate.

I'm glad I'm from a country where banks never ever touch your shit. Truly the land of the free. Not even the police can ask banks to give them information about you. Personal banking is quite literally a sacred institution here.

ING blocked my account when I was making several crypto buys at once. Called up and asked wtf and they unblocked. Apparently it was an automated block after several transactions. I'm guessing crypto sites are on some list that if you interact with too much they auto block you.

That's why you just hold BTC and ETH and no one can just take your shit which was the entire point of crypto. Somehow banks taking your money is crypto's fault according to normie fucks.
