My debt and "shat happens" things that need my attention through out 2023 is manageable. Now if it all piled up at once then I'd be fucked. The debt (personal loan) will be paid off in 2026 and the rate is low on it so meh. My c.c balance will be under 300 starting in 2023 so meh on that as well. The big whammy things are the "shat happens" which are spread out over the whole coming year. Pluses are I'm getting another salary boost in July, my emergency fund (3.30% rate) contributions will be hiked 10%, and my 401k contributions will be hiked 12%. My pension will be hiked as well once I get the salary boost.

You can ride a huge decline to profit if the IV on CCs is high enough. I rode YY for a year through a 50% decline and the CC premiums have exceeded my original basis.
Kind of tax inefficient though, taking profit off option premiums while bagholding an unrealized loss. Eventually it's good to sell and wash. Put selling can be better.
