What's the story on jonneh and horses?

Chainlink is associated with this abuse from a central authority on retail. Chainlink let this happened and accepted a gift from the team to be part of this.

>> No.52821215

>>52821206
Im beginning to think it was chainlink that somehow leveraged their power to cut us out. This smells like something Eric Schmidt would do.

>> No.52821222

>>52821215
Yeah, too bad Chainlink's usecase is based on preventing this kind of abuse. They cannot publicly be part of this now. They have to make this right or jump ship

>> No.52821250

>>52821222
I agree. Its pretty interesting that chainlink didnt retweet any of the stakedotlink posts. I think Chainlink will not publicly acknowledge the situation if we dont raise all hell on Twitter.

I kneel. Im part of the reason half of biz bought LPL and LP shares. I shilled it relentlessly. Im sorry.

>> No.52821283

>>52821250
Agreed. And in a way it makes sense. Nodes are kycd by Chainlink in order to bootstrap the network, thus relying on trust. If this trust is broken Chainlink must act, it's part of their model. This is why the community won't stop harassing them publicly because it corners them with their own logic

>> No.52821335

>>52821283
I hope youre right bc i took a pretty bad loss. Dont care about the $ value but i really thought LPL would be my retirement.

>> No.52821369

>>52821335
ya i got fucked by lpl too fren. sdl will have its day when retail cares about self custody of tokens and wants the ability to stake link but after 5 years, i am certain that will only happen when the news tells them to do it

>> No.52821398

>>52821335
I can't know for sure. But fact are Chainlink still haven't acknowledged it and they just sent a balloon with a chainlinkgod damage control thread. They are still weighing their options. If the pressure continues they will have to either deal with the shit show and somehow justify how this pool was built on honest grounds, or will have to apply pressure on linkpool to make things right. Also, this might be cope but I think this is the best moment to get proposals to the dao to rectify this, would allow everyone to save face.

>> No.52821455

>>52821398
the fact that chainlink hasnt acknowledged stake dot link in any way, despite receiving a large percentage of the project is quite unique. I also noticed the community pool still needs around 750k more LINK in it, maybe they will double stake dot link's allowance right off the bat to fill the node operator portion of the community pool? im just trying to be optimistic after getting railroaded

the longer they keep quiet/deny/gaslight the direct involvement of Jonny Horsefucker with Chainlink Labs the more Chainlink looks like a really elaborate scam (a "Smart Con" if you will)

the reality is that SDL should have been airdropped, in addition to the LPL token continuing on. They seemingly tried to take advantage of the big news, SDL, to take an unrelated action which was screwing over the long term holders. Also, we know that 2021 was the most expensive year for operating a chainlink node, with SCALE, costs will go down and down until literally zero cost for oracle updates on all chains. HOW THE FUCK DID LINKPOOL NOT ATLEAST OFFER TO CHANGE FROM REVENUE SHARE -> PROFIT SHARE???? why the fuck did they go from revenue share -> zero.

I would also like to remind everyone that the biggest nodes in the network are (obviously) also involved in this. You know, for the non shit.link holders that own LINK

Yup. Lpl still was my safetynet from this year. I never would have guessed that we got rugged.
Std will be big, but how how Eric and Jonneh boy screwed us is just wrong in so many ways. OGs were betrayed.
I would willingly pay a minority to give those two a beating that is filmed for us betrayed ones.
