Then that would require me to sell my link and pay taxes on it, you piece of shit fucking retarded Bulgarian fudders.

It is literally printing free money from the most important financial asset in the history of mankind.

What these fudders fail to mention is that the whole point of staking is to secure a spot in the offical chainlink staking pool. Suffice to say, this pool will probably be the best staking pool there is.

But if you sold last week and bought again today you'd be up 10%? That's over 2 years of staking profit in a few days.

Sounds like your tax obligations are the problem here, you're missing out on far better plays. Get tax status somewhere else.

Stare into my eyes and hear my words linkies

Let's get one thing straight. You WILL stake those link bags. You WILL be happy with a 4% commission. That much I can tell you. A guard will come by your pod three times a day to administer the mood detection test. Should it read "insufficiently staked," there will be an appropriate response. So, let me say it real clear. You're going to lock your tokens up for a while. You're going to share your profits with the state. Yes, it will mostly dump, and you're going to love it.

He was a goy, Serg was a jew
Can I make it any more obvious?
He was a punk, Serg did grifts
What more can I say?
He wanted LINK, Serg would dump
Secretly Serg hated this chump
And all of his friends sold their bags
They had a problem with these goy slags

He was a 88er boy
Serg said see you later goy
He wasn't good enough for him
He had some heavy bags, his head was stuck in sand
Sergey would never pay the goyim

Five years from now, Serg sits at home
Feedin' the belly, he's all alone
He turns on TV, guess who he sees?
88er boy rockin' up goyTV
He calls up his friends, they already know
And they've all got tickets to flee his shoa
He tags along and stands in the crowd
Looks up at the goy and wishes that he had bowed

He was a 88er boy
Serg said see you later goy
He wasn't good enough for him
Now with his wrecking bar he's slammin' their blue star
Does your hebrew face see what he's worth?
He was a 88er boy
Serg said see you later goy
He wasn't good enough for him
Now with his wrecking bar he's slammin' their blue star
Does your hebrew face see what he's worth?

Sorry, Serg, but you missed out
Well, tough luck, that goy's mine now
We are more than just good friends
This is how the story ends
Too bad that you couldn't see
I see the man that goy could be
There is more than meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside

Fortunately it appears this isn't a disposal in Australia - not sure what country you are in. If you stake you retain beneficial ownership.
This is different from most contracts where you're issued a "receipt token / liquidity token" (ie. aave gives you alink tokens as a receipt) - this part does trigger a disposal since you've received something in exchange.
Our laws are retarded, but fortunately it appears link staking in the official pool is in our favour.
