Was so fucking pissed. Had a really busy work day. I tried to sneak my laptop in and stake around lunchtime but I kept getting an error message through my metamask (through Trezor) whenever it tried to pull up my Trezor to approve staking. Still don't know why the error kept happening but I didnt get to stake my LINK, and honestly was one of the shittiest things that happened to me this year. Sorry am venting. I really wanted those airdrops.

An average IQ person would've tried out everything the night before. I knew that sometimes the Ledger does not work unless you update the firmware. It will literally act as if nothing works, so I got out my Ledger, updated it, did a transaction and went to sleep comfy knowing how everything works. Also played around with gas settings in case it's gonna be total gas wars

So am I higher IQ than you because I didn't prepare, woke up 1 hour before staking to discover I had two eligible wallets, but my Ledger hadn't been updated for 5 years. Got everything fixed, figured out blind signing and how to connect to Metamask for the first time ever (I literally haven't touched my 80k Link or any crypto in 5 years). Did all that in 30 minutes and staked 14k Link in the first 5 minutes of the pool opening.

i think that would be too discouraging desu. a lot of big wallets put in 7k only and are waiting for expansion. no doubt the first movers will get first opporuntity to stake in the future but within a year there will be at least a 10M opening, with early stakers probably taking 8M of it
