Now that staking hasn't provided any kind of pump. Is there any reason to expect a pump from link on any other possible events happening?
Is there any reason chainlink would pump independently of the larger market? Do they have any tricks left in the coming 12 months?
Trying to figure out if I should keep some of my networth in "the bear market coin" or switch to some others I've been eyeing.

This is literally the worse kind of trendline. These fucking near-vertical lines mean nothing, because the price can move sideways or even down slightly and still "break" the trendline.

From a tokenomics perspective, its reduced the circulating supply pretty handily. There isn’t a way to withdraw yet so how long this effect will last is unclear. If they open up new pools those will take more off of the market, as whales have been waiting to stake. Limiting supply doesn’t directly impact the price, but it will make moves more significant. If we see increased demand for tokens I would anticipate a substantial rise in price. Most trading is bots “painting the tape” and I would bet they tried to paint it down after staking opened for the lulz.

Why do you want to buy/hold something if you assume that the bear market continues? 99,9999% of this shit will go much lower in that case and you are literally just gambling against much smarter people than you. If you believe that bears will remain strong just sell and come back when things look a bit better.

Yes, 50 million of them via Binance all with the knowledge of their "investors" while they locked their "investment" in a chastity cage controlled by the guy they already paid for said "investment".
If you still don't see it by now, you probably never will and if you still don't see that both sides of the discussion here is at least 50% paid for then may god help you.

Do you think if they opened it up to 75M it would get filled? I was kind of underwhelmed by the fact that public access took like 4 hours to fill even though the narrative was that all these whales who could only get in 7k beforehand would be scrambling over eachother in the first few minutes to make sure they would get a spot.

Yeah but that wouldn't be the point. My point is that if another 50M can't even be filled for certain, what point is the whole endeavor?

CCIP release will probably cause a pump. But DESU link is unlikely to make any big moves until the cap is removed from staking and the fees from staking are coming from users instead of sergey's wallet

LINK might just pump out of no where without any catalysts, because all cryptos can. You don't need a 'reason'.

More crypto price feeds would lock up tokens with v1 but we're not mooning properly (like $1k-81k) until V2 and it expands to more services which means onboarding tradfi onto blockchain it'll take years and years

>> No.52806667

V0.1 is just a test run anon. I’m able to get free Link while they work out the kinks. This was necessary before things can really get rolling. Imagine a derivative market feed that people were using for contracts and than chainlink shit the bed. If chainlink failed while handling billion dollar smart contracts with banks or other big organizations their reputation would be tarnished forever and none of us would make it.

General access still required splitting wallets, I was tracking several wallets of ~1 million LINK that couldn't stake everything they wanted. I think it would fill up pretty quickly, although it might require exchanges to enable LINK staking on their platforms which would take some time to get set up.
