I also got an email from Workable saying they recieved my application but when I click on the companies Workable page it says page not found.

OP there's scams like this quite often. I had a scam interview myself, everything seemed great, i was chosen pretty quickly (like 15 min lol). The whole interview was through telegram. By the end they told me they were gonna send me a check so I can buy the equipment for the job. They said this would also be a way to measure trust. That's when I couldn't trust it anymore. It's a scam.
