Ebay. Pic related is about 2oz, bought at spot. Kind of a pain to use; its delicate, must be cleaned carefully, and the beverage in it will be warmed by your hand. But it is nice to have a silver cup to sip from on rare occasions.

Read my story and feel my pain.

Bracelet and ring on ebay. both 10k. Bracelet has no weight but looks thick. I offer 650 for both. Seller counters with 750 Canadian dollars (550USD) and I hesitate for 2 days.

After 2 days seller responds with a picture of the bracelet weighed and its 30g. I say 100 percent I will pay 750 and seller says no. I then say 750 for the bracelet only and she says yes. Then someone else offers 750, seller gets confused about who the buyer is, and sells it to the other guy.

FUG.

30*.419*78 =980 for the bracelet only

Seller was willing to take $750 for the bracelet and a ring (likely around 5g)

750*1.12 = $840 Canadian dollars (Canadian sellers to Canadian buyers charge 12 percent sales tax)

$980-840 = $140 under spot for just the bracelet. Since the ring is included you're over $300 under melt value for both.

Plus, the bracelet is unworn and nicely finished and worth $2500+. It's two tone with brushed centre links and diamonds.

I was too much of a jew. I thought that it was probably only 16-18g so I hesitated

Here's how looks the silver mining industry's biggest players when you starve them to death for months.

The average All-In Sustaining Cost (AISC) of the producers is currently $19.33 per silver ounce. Was close to $20 back few months earlier, when the spot dived in the $17-18 range.
I'll keep repeating it : ONLY commodity in the world where you produce at a loss when the demand is at it's highest point EVER.

Speaking of rabbis, look at what we got today : -2Moz in registered.
About 75Moz paper sold on the markets. Thus explaining the tamp down.

The best part? Silver gaining 30% over the past 3 months was to stop the bleeding then somehow manage to replenish the registered vaults by 2Moz.
All these efforts destroyed in a single day. All these efforts to dump by a miserable dollar. Extreme bleeding is back on the menu frens.

spot x price per gram in local currency x weight is the calculation.

this one pains me because the bracelet and ring are both in a style that I like. The ring was a beautiful tiger eye signet ring with diamonds.

At 750 Canadian dollars for 35g of 10k that is actually nice looking stuff and a style I would personally wear it would have been a killer deal. shit like this gives me physical pain.

35*.419*100*2.5= $3666.25

the reason I don't buy platinum is that it won't ever be used as money or have a currency backed against it, so I don't feel the same kind of security behind it. feels more similar to my gemstones and semiprecious stuff, not something I'd get for resource security but something that technically has some anyway so long as you can find a buyer. it's interesting in that it is an incredible metal rarer than gold. if I ever got any it would be more related to the rock hound side of myself than the stacking side, and I'd rather find it myself.

CVD and natural diamonds are the same and the only way to tell the difference is with a yehuda machine which almost nobody - including jewellers - actually owns.

I'm still skeptical that natural diamonds are going to continue being valued as the lab diamonds go to zero. maybe natural will stay valued but I am skeptical.

I've seen lab diamonds in person from tinyu and stars gems and they look better and are way cheaper than my natural diamonds.

As far as I understand it, the original exposure information (exif) is stored within the file itself. If you're on a Windoze machine you can use File Explorer to view the file's properties, details, and scroll through to see all that stuff.
When you 'rotate' an image, you're adding a layer of info regarding how the file should be viewed.
When you upload to 4Chan (except /p/) the exif gets stripped out. So there's no info on how to display the picture, and it display the array as it was created.
You have to use software to rotate the image by rearragning the array.

The holocaust didn't happen, it should have. I wish it did and I hope it does happen. If I could press a button to gas all jews on the planet I would. They have stolen my entire life from me. We aren't the first victims and we're not gonna be the last. They've ruined the chances of any of us in my generation to have happy families, everyone sleeps around and has whored themselves out, and even for those that haven't like myself, the amount of money a man can make has been halved 3 times over so neither I nor anyone else could raise a family if we wanted to. First women were brainwashed into joining the work force so there is half as much demand and pay for men's work, then our dollar was taken off the gold standard so its worthless, then we get taxed literally 50% because yes insurance is a tax, and then our money supply was just doubled in the span of a year in 2020. And whenever any one of the few who can see and know what's going on says the truth out loud everyone else acts like they're crazy and filled with hate. We're being genocided and no one even cares or knows and doesn't want to know when they're told. Even my parents are ignorant sheep and you guys are usually on top of things.

>And what's your family situation/living conditions?
my parents live in an industrial zoned unit across from my dad's business. It's an industrial area, business is worth about $1,000,000 (in 2023 dollars). I sleep above the office in the shop. They sold the house at the absolute peak but might get nothing from it despite all the payments they made because it was technically owned by the business which is also partially owned by my grandparents. Mom moved with dad away from all her family in california so that he could pursue the business with my grandpa. Grandpa now has dementia and his mind is slowly rotting away. He doesn't remember the business or any of the particular individual grandsons from my dad, we're all just one now. Not so bad because he apparently speaks positive things about us all the time. Thanks gramps, you never showed your pride for us, to us, but I know the love is there

anyways, Grandpa was supposed to sign the house into my dad's name. That never happened, so it stayed a business asset, apparently in a trust. Well now the business is broke because the economy is shit, and grandma needs to sell to get her investment back out because all her stock went into the shitter LIKE EVERYONE TOLD HER WAS GOING TO HAPPEN, but nooooo she didnt listen. God damnit, for having lived through the great depression, she sure is one stupid as fuck government and economy-truster. I mean shes just fucking retarded for not selling.

So even though my parents put like $60,000 in material and hundreds of man hours into renovating the house to sell, including a shitload of my labor for free, AND selling at the absolute top of the market, they might just get fucking nothing because grandma is a dumbfuck AND a greedy bastard who doesnt realize that spending literally $50,000 dollars to pay my uncle to build cat houses on the hill that her mansion sits on is a bad fucking idea. My uncle is a great guy, freedom loving aussie refugee in america and hard worker

>> No.52767968

my aunt who is married to uncle has been doing housekeeping and caring for grandparents and making dinners and shit and helping run a business with uncle and shes almost at her limits. Other 2 aunts who are in san fran and sacramento have come up from time to time to mediate between mom and dad and grandma, now an official lawyer/mediator is involved and that of course is going to cost money. I myself am owed over $10k in backpay. I worked for very little money for the last 6 years because I knew that I would be taking over the business soon because My dad himself is getting ready to retire. I have scraped by, by basically not having a life, so now im 22, no education except GED, have loads of experience in the plastics industry so thats good, but net worth is extremely low and I would be homeless if not for sleeping secretly and illegally above the office. Mind you, "above the office" is literally just the roof of the office inside the industrial shop. Literally my bed is visible and everything from the shop floor (you have to really look though). We had to lay off all our workers except one that has been with us for 13 years. I love her (as family), shes great, but we'll be losing our jobs (probably for the better for me) unless this downsizing/buyout thing goes through with another local business. If that happens, I'll be homeless. Everything is up in the air and this is all supposed to happen by december 31st but we all know thats not going to happen, but we keep pretending. Also I don't have a drivers license because I hate the DMV but have been driving since covid. I'm 22.

I just want a wife, a $50k job and a place to fill with some children. My life has been stolen from me by jews and it's the jews who will pay. I will unironically join a deathsquad to kill jews and now my mom and dad know (dad simply found out my power level was a bit higher than he anticipated)

Isn't there a possibility that you go to a country where you can study for free and intensify your knowledge by going to a university or doing professional education in a big company. If you imagine that homeless people in America are just normal folks who had a bad break in the market, you don't know what you are talking about. 95% of the homeless in America are either mentally ill, drug addicts, or both. Ask anyone who actually works with them. This is why "Just build them homes" is a totally brain-dead solution. As for the other 5%, they are either criminals in hiding or people who just like the hobo lifestyle. Essentially nobody in the USA lives on the street because they can't find shelter.

Last time I checked silver is being traded in the millions of ounces. Platinum is a novelty and will never be used as money. No country is going to back their currency with platinum. However, silver is and always has been linked to gold, has been used as money, and is valuable as an industrial metal. I wouldn't invest in platinum unless you're already dragon tier with your hoard of silver and gold.

In my younger days I explored a deep curiosity about the circumstances and lifestyle of homeless people, I would often come across encampments in my travels and exploration of woods and urban ruins and was too curious to heed the risks so I often went to talk with them when they were out and had an approachable vibe. Indeed many were mentally ill, I met a few who openly admitted it and I felt for them but sadly they needed more than i was capable of offering. Others were just released from jail for drug possession and figuring out how to get back in a more stable situation, others were hard drug addicts; mostly heroin/opiates whose lives had fallen apart because of addiction. I invested in one such person who I could tell had a good soul and a desire to climb out of the hole he had dug, got him kratom and food and spent many hours talking with him and treating him with basic human decency. Eventually I helped him get his act together because he had the desire but just needed help, he is now off heroin and gainfully employed as an apartment property manager. Sadly most homeless people are hopeless though, shitlibs in their ivory towers have no clue. Several, from what I gathered, were basically sober and chose the lifestyle, enjoying the brand of freedom that comes with not being burdened by rent/mortgage or tied to a fixed location. They could collect $50+ cash in scrap metal from dumpsters every day they felt like it, would often find untouched cans of food and beer being thrown out, and had ingenious techniques for efficiently gathering and hauling the metal to the scrapyard for cash.

Should I swap my Monero for a 1oz gold coin? I bought about $2000 worth of Monero at the current price point awhile ago. I just don’t really like crypto, I really like owning gold. I ended up buying much more gold during 2020-2022 which I’m glad I did. I’m a bit iffy on crypto these days though.

>Sounds more like a sensible way to get out of the rat race rather than mental illness

In some cases yes but most homeless I came across had significant problems. One spread I stumbled upon was a fortified 2nd story of an old abandoned industrial building, dude wasn't there so I snooped around. Guy had several tents with plenty of bedding (place had a roof but definitely wasn't insulated) and several folding tables with tons of tools, it was something of a makeshift workshop. The only way up to the 2nd level was a steel staircase with open space below and he had cut out 6 of the stairs so climbing up without falling and breaking your shit was difficult, looked like he roped it off too when he was up there sleeping. The spot was near 2 different car junkyards that weren't fenced in so I think he was sneaking in at night to strip out the wiring and other nonferrous metal, maybe catalytic converters too, to sell at other nearby scrapyards. In a different part of the abandoned industrial complex I found a room that was used to burn the plastic off copper wire. Judging from his workshop I suspect he took valuable car parts to sell and he probably collected lost coins and jewelry under the seats of the junk cars on top of the pilfered scrap, I would if I were him anyway. It was an interesting setup and I bet he made a lot of money, seemed like a slick operation so I doubt he was an addict or mentally ill.

Thanks fren, have you done any work with the homeless? It's a complex issue that virtue-signaling libs pretend can be fixed by throwing more money, they like pretending they care and talk a big game but when it actually matters they will turn their nose up in disgust when they encounter homeless IRL then absolve themselves by posting on Facebook about how it's all capitalism's fault and someone (*else* of course, always someone else) needs to do something about it. For the minority of homeless people who can be helped; individuals who haven't been corrupted entirely by addiction or years of criminality it really is as simple as them just needing a friend who sees and treats them like a human being, someone to talk to and help remind them that they have the power to improve their situation if they dig deep within themselves to find it. Being surrounded by hopeless addicts, the mentally unstable, predatory criminals who prey on other homeless and faggot cops who know they are easy targets and steal their scrap money makes it hard for those who want better to even reach that first rung of the ladder. y copypasta answer responds with, "Here are some options to consider" so you can decide for yourself.
- When a new series of artful or themed bullion (especially coins) is issued, the first of the series are usually missed by later collectors. They will pay high premiums to fill in the series. Consider the potential for series' popularity: generic and/or cringeworthy-themed series are less likely to appreciate above spot.
- Low-mintage series are often priced very high, but may increase in price the most (consider design popularity!).
- Gov't-issued coins cost least while minted. Once the mintage stops and dealers run out of stock, the prices jump then rise more slowly but still faster than generic silver. Maples, Eagles, Wieners, Britannias, etc. are all nice but boring. The mint may add a privy to add novelty thereby ginning up the price. Stuff that changes overall designs from year to year become series (Somali elephants, Canadian Wildlife, Australian kookaburras or koalas, island nations' series, etc.).
- If you buy pieces that appeal to your sense of art, taste, and interests, you will still appreciate them even if the price or value of the PM goes nowhere. Caveat: if you go to sell, it's harder to part with them.
- Some beautiful generics are priced comically high (Germanias, GSM special editions, e.g.) - they don't follow the market trends as readily, garnering peak price only while fashionable. Be aware: dealers may categorize and price these as "generic" (meaning below spot) when buying them from you. Or the gamble might pay off as they become very popular (Englehard, PAMP, antique miners/refiners, e.g.).
- For new generic bars, watch the markups over spot: premiums (added charges) go up for smaller pieces.
- Shipping is an added premium. Many vendors offer free shipping for purchasing a minimum amount (commonly $200).
- Keeping a spreadsheet of your purchases to track profit/loss is quite revealing and will help you make future decisions.

Then how come there are so many more homeless in the US and they're way crazier than anywhere else? The number is increasing in our cities too but when I see the tent cities in SF or wherever it's just nuts. It's not even the whole US, it mostly seems to corellate with populatiin density. I'm not saying people have no responsibility at all but when you live in a sick society you get sick people and that shows in various ways, among them a large population of homeless and/or addicts. I'd buy old 90% US silver coins, "junk" or "constitutional" silver dimes quarters and half dollars from a local coin store with fair prices, those coins are the most widely recognized and trusted units of silver in the country. Silver spot price is for 5000oz contracts consisting of unwieldy 1000oz bars, the scarcity of pre-1964 silver coins and the expense of turning those big bars into smaller coins or bullion bars adds additional costs (and value) to the retail sized units of silver out there. If you want cheapies then git gud at finding antique scrap silverware and gold jewelry or buy estates/collections like coin dealers do, otherwise you'll always pay premiums. You are incorrect. In most of the world people determined to be mentally ill can be incarcerated involuntarily. A five minute search just for Canada gives their criteria:

The Mental Health Act sets out severalreasons that a person may be held as an involuntary patient. The two most common reasons are:

The person is a danger to themselves, another person, or may unintentionally injure themselves, or
The person’s condition is deteriorating and they require hospitalization.

Pretty broad. You will find most of the world follows something similar. The USA is different due to Constitutional considerations.

And I will leave it at that because this is OT

A small part of it and yeah it takes up lots of space, I keep the high quality/valuable sterling because I like collecting it, since I was a kid I always wanted a shiny hoard of pirate loot or Viking booty to roll around in and silver goblets and bowls and whatnot fit the bill. The stuff that isn't worth more than the silver content I send to a refinery and for a fee they turn it into bullion bars for me which is how I stack .999 silver under spot price. Takes more time and knowledge than buying bars from a dealer at retail but scrapping is one of my favorite hobbies these days, scooping good deals feels really good man. I suspect they will keep backing away from the dollar slowly and accumulating gold until the dollar starts a serious decline. Then they will run for the door and that will be the beginning of the end for the USD.

I'm not sure hobos on meth who live in tent cities qualify. Sounds like this would apply to people who have acute mental breakdown or psychotic episodes. Even if they did qualify that wouldn't justify holding them indefinitely, just until the condition is stabilized but I'm no lawyer. Either way, the lack of homeless drug addicts in other countries isn't because locking them up is common. Because it isn't. Maybe in some countries it is but those would be the exception.

We used to have Insane Asylums in the US where men could take their wives and have them committed. They housed men, women, and children as late as the 1970s. We moved away from those in favor of letting those people rot in the street due to kike influence, loss of social cohesion, and an increase in federal government power. It had nothing to do with constitutional rights or any such bullshit. Simply a loss of an important function of society. This is the slow crumble.

Should be able to scrape together 3.5oz or so by mid March. Need to get that ratio up, and I'll feel a bit of relief if I had a little bit of gold anyway.

if i had to do things over, i probably wouldn't have bought as much fractional as i have now. most of that fractional was bought a few years ago when premiums were low. Those $10 commemorative gold pieces were something like $15, maybe 20 over. Now they have about the same premium as other fractional coins, which is to say expensive. It doesnt matter a whole lot for me, the price has jumped up quite a bit, but i wouldn't recommend anyone to buy them now. Fractional was a good way to jump in the market when premiums were low back then. Now its expensive, and you wont really regain that premium when you sell. I know the entry price for ounce pieces are high, but I think theyre the way to go. My .02 anyway. I would like to get a quarter and tenth ounce eagle, just to have the whole set. And i would like to get the pre 33 indian set, but these would be vanity purchases.

im half glad i do have them for that reason. Theres some schizo theories going around that if gold (and silver) were to be confiscated here in the US, they would let you keep govt coins. Hence why AGEs and ASEs have the insane premium they do now, partially anyway. I don't know why they would let you keep a particular kind, maybe something about not being able to take your "money," and them having a denominated value on the coin. Another argument for fractional is that if they change reporting requirements to a much lower amount, say $600, you might be able to cash out the smallest coins undetected. I think if they changed the requirements like that, it would be after an epic bull run, and maybe even the smallest coins would be covered in the amounts they choose. Uncle fucking sam wants his cut.

platinum is arguably a more useful metal with more industrial demand. it's also much rarer, not just in terms of its average concentration in the earth's crust, but there are only a few places that it's mined in significant quantities. banks have gold cornered and its overpriced relative to its value.

so, rarer, cheaper, more useful than gold. what's the problem?

>> No.52775385

>>52775341
cont.

there's an argument to be made that, because banks have gold cornered, they have an interest in maintaining its value. you could view it as a positive or a negative, but my feeling is that platinum has more upwards potential e.g. in the instance of a shortage or increased demand.

Never mind that Liberia has the same exact constitution and the country is a shithole. What I said still stands. The loss insane asylums was a societal tragedy. We used to send ardent feminists, trannies, faggots, and the homeless to these state funded asylums. Now they spread their filth and shit everywhere. As I said, the kikes are slowly dismantling the foundations of a healthy White society. They can use the constitution for that purpose just as much any other legalese bullshit they can.
