Well, it is 2022 and we dont drive with a carriage anymore - we us cars today.

as long as POW cant scale to billiones of people onchain without expensive fees - there is simply no tech progress and no mass adaption.

Therefore: Not interested and most of all - not impressed.

To this day, I still dont understand why you want the prices to go up. monero could cost 1 cent and its utility wouldnt change.
Its not a speculative asset theres no reason to hold it unless you run a tor market or exchange, you just buy monero no matter the price buy your Adderall/weed and move on with your life, it makes no sense to hold into it

>expensive fees
monero transactions have about $0.0001 transaction fees? unless you're talking about mining in general, but PoS removes the decentralisation and security that's needed for monero, so it's not any better. do you have any other consensus mechanism suggestions?

here we go again ... the old fairytale of decentralisation.

There are POS chains which have several thouthand indipendent nodes across the whole planet.
On top - no, they dont run all on AWS too.

And while we had already a bunch of 51% attacks on POW chains ... there was never a POS chain successfully attacked till today.

leaderless consensus, instant finality, carbon negative, staking etc.. etc.. real tech progress has happened only in the POS space.

POW did bring nothing new to the table since now a entire decade.

So if it makes you happy, you can keep stuck in the past while the future moves on.

Monero will suck up all the value/MC of shitty crypto that are dying because people will see it's the best SoV and Utility in the space, or end up with shitcoins @$0.00

The ones not dependent on data centers, AWS, etc. don't have any TPS advantages over (say) BCH or Monero. There's no magical throughput gained through using stake-based consensus.

try chains like Avalanche as an example. You will see the difference.
The difference to POW chains is huge.
Beside that, you can actualy do something with the tokens, beside only hodling or paying for child porn ... lol

Something productive that makes the world a better place.

though as a Monero hodler i think you doesnt care at all for it.

nevertheless... all the best for you. bye

>> No.52777512

The broken English "is very fast sir, elom musk will use it" and zero technical knowledge you see with all of the flavor-of-the-month smart contract coins makes me feel a lot more confident about Monero because I see the kind of retards I'm betting against.
