I remember you people telling me that last year around this time and I have the same answer now as I did then:
I go to the grocery stores and they're packed, I go to home depot and it's crawling like they're giving everything for free.
People are out there still spending money like it's no tomorrow.
And of course there was no recession.

I have held these things into profit from 25% losses almost every time. Whenever i take the loss i feel even worse when it turns out i was right and was just shaken early. its all a big stupid game and im too hopped up on jewish substances and vices to make good decisions right now. Sure, FFR has been near 0% for over a decade. The months after we pushed rates over 2% the economy collapsed, which was also predicted by the yield curve, but we all attribute 2020's crash all to COVID (which was just the catalyst). Now we're further inverted with absurdly high rates after trillions have been printed at 0% for the last two years AGAIN.

Economy has been running on nothing but stimulant since 2009. We're going cold turkey. That's not how you quit anything without a horrible relapse.

i have so many coulda woulda shoulda stories from this year and while i feel like i have learned a lot from each trade, what i really have learned is that its all gambling. but most recent story is that I had my entire $25k account in long calls on the 11/30 jerome speech day and I took 3% profit at the first big green candle, then rode a few puts for another $50 on the initial pullback... had i not sold though i would have doubled my account on the rip up. I could have doubled my account on VIX long calls when pelosi flew to Taiwan (but was too schizo to take the profit), I sold a 0 DTE naked short strangle for $40 and then RUSSIA BOMBED NATO ALLY POLAND tanked the market and i panic bought to close the naked put for $500 on an initial $20 premium collected. By the time i was off the phone with my broker who i needed to make the trade because it put me below the $25k threshold and my account was frozen, the market had recovered fully and i would have been safe. Each time i look for the lesson to be learned and idk, just seems like its all gambling. There is no statistical analysis. the greeks are a meme. I'm trying to treat this "game" so seriously like i did with my career but idk if the lesson is to take it more seriously or less. It's just a stupid game with the actions already priced in for all participants already.

that's the thing, i inherited money, was a 2nd generation public accountant who wanted to trade instead but it just seems like the system is designed specifically to take the day traders money while instilling fear with fake news and fluff for both bulls and bears, meanwhile the market just slowly drifts up and up and up when it turns out everything is coordinated in advance and all the things CNBC talks about and all the traders talk about is just for the goomblers with an additiciton problem. Idk the markets arent what i thought they were.

Needless to say I’m up today but only like 6,000$. It’s hard cause yea today I’m up 6k, that’s a good chunk of money, most people will never in their lives make 6k in a day. But it becomes a in the bucket grinding against the heebs and their machines who are trying to claw back every penny.

Are you in management at this point? I am getting to the point in my career where thats the only way to get paid significantly more. I find management pretty repugnant from a moral standpoint.

You just talk all day and slowly become less competent than all the people actually working. Way too many people in my field feel this way though and end up making way less over their careers due to pride.

Same bro, I used to do statistical analyses, actually study trends but it honestly got me nowhere. I've had more luck just sticking to my gut and just doing it but since I lost a great deal from misplays, I try to limit the risk I take on now and as a result make smaller gains. I suppose that's what I have to trade in - astronomical gains just to be safe and not lose it all in one go. But then again, seeing the positions you were in rip up is a horrible feeling, literally the catalyst for my revenge trades last week that made me lose so much money on the jpowell speech since I kept tripling down on puts.

me too. doing this every day for the past year has made me realize there is no difference. both are just an underlying game with side bets being made. I know for a fact the side bets affect the outcome of the stock market, so why should it be any different in sports? Both have market makers and takers.

>>52761661
no i need to do some homework on ATR. I just have a maximum position size in mind and a maximum loss % in mind but i always end up breaking both rules. I use VWAP, Volume at Price, and 2.5 standard deviation Bollinger Bands, along with MACD and RSI meme indicators. The VWAP and Volume at Price are recent additions to my charts though. Sometimes I feel like im just being tested on my willpower to hold. I've held $30k of puts for 11 days from -80% to +1% so i know how much these things can and do move. its just the mental toll it takes on me when my initial entry was just a scalp vs a multi day play, and the previous losses in those situations weigh on me when i think about how much i have chopped my account down. I think I'm going to take a break for a bit, reload my account when i take a distribution next year and go back to selling options

see you sound just like me and there is an entire industry of boomers selling that shit to us. They turn these FOMC meetings into such big TV events it just lets me know the money is not here. The youtube traders are a meme. They arent making any real money from it. Or they are making so much money from jewtube that they dont care about gambling in the market. Once I heard that Jew Sosnoff makes over 100 trades per day and that he's worth 9 figures, i just realized that hes just gambling like the rest of us in order to create entertainment content for the jewtube channel. No way he's picking good entry points when hes doing 100 trades a day with many different tickers. He's just throwing play money down at the casino... and oh yea he's related to the casino owners by religion.

The top quant trading firms use more than most statistical analysis. They have very, very clean and structured data. It's very hard to get your hands on that sort of stuff. They pay many millions a year (both internally and externally to contractors) to get it. It's never a fair game.

bruh, you are unironically doing it wrong. You are risking way too much money for the amount of understanding you have. The only "stop loss" you should have is the worthless expiration of options. So, of you have a $30,000 account, you would risk $3,000 on options 4 months out with no S/L. Any other way is beyond your ability right now.
