My story had a happier ending, but I just moved earlier this month and didn't realize I had my metamask password and ledger pin in a notebook in my storage unit about an hour away from my house. I took off work today, and when I saw the early access open this morning I went to grab my shit and realized it wasn't there, checked the link staking page and saw it filling up millions in like the first 10 minutes, absofuckinglutely panicked and jumped straight in my car to grab the shit out of my unit, which I had to dig through. Got home 2 hours later with the notebook and realized it didn't have the ledger pin, that was actually in a separate notebook for safety reasons. Got back in my car, dug through the unit again, got back another 2 hours later thinking there was no way in fuck I was gonna make it into early access and saw it had slowed to a crawl. So basically I'm retarded and almost fucked myself out of this even though I've been ready and holding (including gay linkpool) for years.
