>LPL had a token migration to a new token called SDL. LPL users used to get 20% of LinkPool revenue but under the new token they only get 20% of network fees. LinkPool seemingly had to do this to get other nodes to sign on for stake.link (nodes didn't want to give up 20% of their revenue). Currently the main benefit of owning SDL is it gives you access to liquid staking, however, because there are only 25 million LINK that can be staked starting out SDL holders won't be able to stake that much, about 200 LINK per 10k SDL.
