There's been massive accumulation going on with link, just look at link/btc or link/eth, uptrends on both since June that look identical to the uptrend that started June 2018 on both. If we continue to play like last cycle the smart play is to have some link to sell late 2024 pre bull, some more to sell during the 2025 bull as it might see a higher usd value. If staking 1.0 and ccip release by 2025, you never have to sell again and can live off staking. This is assuming that they have included a "send back" function in the SC to prevent non-elligible tokens from taking up space in the pool. Although it is possible that non-elligible tokens will simply be locked in the contract, but not receive any rewards if Chainlink has decided that they don't want to pay gas fees for returning the non-elligible tokens. So if you go by the math, there are roughly 5k wallets with over 7k link. That's 35 million link that could potentially be staked in early access, if every wallet were eligible. There will be roughly room for 22 million link to be staked. Now, not every wallet will be eligible, and some may choose not to stake. However some whales will have multiple eligible wallets, which throws this number off (if you have 50k link and 7 eligible wallets you could stake 48k link, I don't think many whales will have that many eligible wallets but there will be a few, I know some who deliberately broke their wallets up into amounts like 10k a piece).

So yeah its up in the air if it will fill and how soon. I'd say you'll be fine if you get in on that day, but if you are planning to get in on general access you're probably shit out of luck because even if early access somehow doesn't fill, bots will definitely snag every gen access spot before you have a chance.

Okay so I finally got it to work. I was originally getting a "you are already connected to chainlink staking" message.

What I had to do is reset bluetooth pairings on my Nano X. And then I deleted the Ledger Live app. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR SEED PHRASE WRITTEN DOWN BEFORE YOU DELETE THE APP.

Then I redownloaded the Ledger Live app. Then I went to staking.chain.link to check my eligibility and voila pic rel.

Im not going to do it again because it took me 30 minuites to do it. It doesn't matter if you have the Nano S or the Nano X. As long as you have the seed phrase written down, you funds are safe whenever you delete any apps/passcodes/account pairings.

Just delete every piece of software that you use on your computer for interacting with your wallet. Then install everything again and connect everything back together again.
