are laundromats a viable business?

>> No.52731412

Depends, most people have washers and dryers in their homes. You'd need to live near an area with a lot of people that live in their RVs or hotels.

Do you have a few million dollars made from drugs? No? In that case don't open a laundromat.

You need to find a good location and make sure you buy the building at a good price.
My buddy has a couple of them and they bring in 120k/yr each and profit is like 20%.
They’re a good way to boost income if you know what you’re doing.

The people you want using your laundromat, don't use a laundromat.

So what you'll get are poors and thieves trying yo steal the coins. Not much of a business model to be honest.

Traveler here, I use a laundromat roughly once a week. At this point I don't understand why more hotels don't just have a couple washers/dryers already.

It's better if you're in an area with a very high density of tourists. I've been to most of the big Italian cities by this point and they have a decent number of laundromats in the tourist-y areas, usually not super sketchy. Was weird as fuck seeing some Italian chav in a Mercedes rock up to do laundry at the laundromat though, like wtf are you doing renting such a nice car to go do laundry?

I live in a suburbs with lots of townhomes/condos. A lot of renters and owners will go either because the machines at home are too small for backed up laundry, or it's cheaper than running older machines.

Don't they just wash the stuff they would not wash at home? i.e. blue collar workers washing their work clothes filled with grime and mud? (No shade on blue collar work but if I were a sanitation worker I'd use a laundromat too)

Where do you live, some fly over city that is 10 years behind in progress? Laundry mats are all computerized now, some make you use a phone app and others have laundry mat cards that you purchase on location.

This nigga still using coins even though no one carries change anymore. Go back to your containment thread pmg old man.
