I once got scammed out of hundreds of dollars by a guy who offered me “gold” to give him cash because he “lost his wallet”. I trusted him cause he had kids and a “wife” with him in his car. I only realized I was being scammed when I got a moment alone in between trying to get him gift cards after getting him cash. That taught me how much of a nice retard I was and that people will take advantage of that when they can. That guy could have kidnapped/raped me using the same set up.
